Um... would I be able to post something here that has to do with technical help, but not with JJ2? Or would that be immoral?

This is a Jazz-Related forum and not many people go here. Since the problem is not Jazz related, I suggest you post it in Miscellaneous, as you are more likely to get help there (since more people go there).
