A very curious question.

I read today, on Overlord's STRONGHOLD:Jazz site, that the jjfire cheat increases your fire rate by 1. Two questions:

What does a normal FastFire item increase your fire rate by?
What's the fire rate of the solid bullet beam? (i.e. no spaces between bullets)
Boids rule.

Well it is not actually stored as a fire rate in JJ2. It is stored as a delay between firing. So fastfire and the cheat code decrease the delay.

The solid bullet beam has a delay of zero, and it is only reachable through memory editing.

I'm not sure exactly how much a normal fastfire decreases the delay. I would assume it is the same as the cheat code, but I could be wrong.

There is a limit to how fast you can go with fastfires which can be breached with memory address editing and jjfire.

It takes nine (or was it ten) fastfires to reach full normal fastfire. It takes typing it about twenty times. So I'd say fastfire probably adds 2.

The cool thing about jjfire is that if you type it enough times (like 30 or so) Jazz/Spaz's firing animations are screwed up when you fire the 'beam'. It is hilarious! (Also, the blaster seems to fire slightly higher up than usual.) Try it some time, it is cool.

Using this cheat you can shoot so much bullets that they will look like going backwards! (tested)
