Our IRC channel #jj2 is still up and running.

Since I started my online timer on Friday March 15th 2002. I've spent 2615 hours and counting in that chat room.

So come idle with us when your not around come chat with us when your bored. The morons in #jj2 await you.

Once mIRC is installed open the program. Then go to File then to Options. Once your in options go to Connect. Then a connection screen will pop-up. Then click on add and type in this information

Description: quakenet
IRC server: irc.quakenet.org
Port: 6667

Then click Add. Now Click on the IRC Server tab and go to 'All' then go to the tab under that and scroll to find 'quakenet' and click connect.

Don't forget to write in a nickname and all that good stuff.

Now once connected to quakenet in the status windown type this

/join #jj2

and that's it.

hum, well thnx fer the tip, but i got a tip too "try this at home!" cuz on school this absolutly sucks, i can still see the "unable to resolve server" flashing fer mah eyes

I've never actually gotten into an enthralling conversation in #jj2, but I visit it occationally. It's very rarely Jazz 2-related, but it's still a fairly good chat room. It's always nice to see something the community made outside of the game.
