A question about Destruct scenery trigger.
Ok, whenever I attmept to use this trigger, the scenery is destructed as soon as I start the level. Also, it takes a few other tiles out with it. So, instead of having just one tile destructed, I have around eight or nine, most of them in inconvenient places.
This goes for the Buttstomp scenery trigger, except that other tiles aren't deleted. So, why does this happen? I checked the levels that went with the game, but they used the triggers exactly the way I did. However, there triggers work correctly, and mine don't. So, what might be causing the problems? And how could I fix the problems? Thanks... ![]() |

The tile the destruct scenery (or buttstomp or whatever) must be an animated tile of at least three frames. The first is how it appears, the second is what's there after it is 'destroyed', and the last frame is what falls away. If there are more then three frames, all but the last two will be shootable frames.

It's common to forget the animations.

I forget to open JCS when I'm working on a level sometimes. Do you?

Also, don't forget to set animation speed to 0, or the block will go blown itself.

Well.. in single player, yes. But in multiplayer, if you have a destruct scenery (or whatever) on an animated tile of speed 1+, and another of the same animation without the event, it messes up. (Actually, I tested this a long time ago, so I may be remembering it wrong, but I think that's right)
