Veg recently decided that he would begin hosting a "Channel jj2" dedicated battle server. At first it was designed that you had to go to #jj2 to get the password, but now it's open to all the public.

Anyway, a few announcements. I suggested that we could have scheduled games some times, so that perhaps we can get a lot of people playing together at once and stuff for a chance to play some quality levels.

So at 5 pm EST, every Friday, try and come to play. Veg also told me that he'll be changing the levels around weekly. He will have 4 packs of 7 levels he will rotate every week. Also in the future he plans on having people be able to vote on new levels to put in.

Hopefully this will get some of us (including me) off our butts and playing Jazz2 a little more instead of sitting around here.

Nice to have a dedicated server at all. I like this. Could you provide lists of the levels in the packs?

I'll ask Veg about it. It would be nice if Veg would post the list, but he refuses to come here.

Perhaps sometime he will make a/some page(s) about the dedicated server, but I don't know if he ever will. I imagine he's rather busy.

Great. All of a sudden, we have a CTF semi-dedicated server but no Battle server. Where is Monolith when you need him?
