Every time I open a server, it doesn't work. It says I'm pinging. I do have the Contraband upgrade, and I do have the intelligent server upgrade. Whats wrong?

You should try turning your firewall off.

Open ports 10052-10054 on your router/firewall. If you don't have one I don't know what to do :P

Servers that ping endlessly are ones that n00bs open up who have firewalls and expect people to be able to join. Try joining other servers. Sometimes, I put up a server (that cannot be joined, and pings endlessy) called, "Please host 1.23." I also host it if one of those stupid hotels that you're not allowed to roast in bans me for roasting everyone. EvilMike, founder of hotels, only made things money so people would have to roast others for some reason... according to him. Since when do we have to not kill people?

Problem...I don't know how to open the ports OR turn off my firewall.

I CAN'T turn mine off and it works fine for me.

What sort of firewall do you have?

As always, the best course of action may very well be to check the manual for instructions on how to open the correct ports.

Maybe internet provider does not allow host JJ2, as to me.

About sux internet providers Maybe internet provider does not allow host JJ2, as to me. __________________ You have moved the mouse. NT must be restarted for the changes to take effect.
