Remember that thing in the Art Forum, where people would draw something, and the winner would choose the next theme? This is like that. People have a week to create a story based around the situation/whatever proposed by last week's winner. All stories are given to last week's winner, who chooses the new winner. Posting the stories is optional, you can just put them in PMs, but I'm sure people will complain if you do.

Rules:
1. You can post your story if it's done after the week period, but it won't be able to win.
2. Please do not create new topics - put the stories in this thread.
3. Your story can be any length. One paragraph, five hundred pages - doesn't matter.
4. English is your toy. If the situation is "Man walks into a bar and meets an old friend", he can walk into one of those solid things and it would still be perfectly valid. The old friend doesn't even have to be alive.
5. Do not post things you have already written. Make something new.
6. Your submission should be stand alone to some degree. Do not submit something which is nothing but a single chapter from some random story.
7. No bribery!

Situation: A man lives underground with his wife. One day they meet a creature (not a human) they have not seen before.

Until Saturday! Or whatever your time zone thinks is a week from now.

Well, I kind of forgot to post this back on Saturday, due to no replies, but I guess this is over. Nobody took part, which is a shame, because it's fun when it actually works.
