JJ2 LAN cooperative
Hi there,
did anybody know how to play JJ2 over LAN in cooperative mode? I just able to run cooperative with split screen (using JJ2 1.23). Did I neet a newer version? And what about the Xperimental Version? Please answer via Email, too (jj2@jme.de) Thax, Joe. |

Try IPX for a LAN connection.

Co-op pretty much doesn't work on LAN or online. The simple answer is because JJ2 wasn't meant to have Co-op played online or with LAN. However, you can use Project Controller 4 to skip to the next level when you reach the end. But this is only part of the solution since there's still the problem with the all of the clients in the server not being able to get killed, which can really take the challenge out of the game.

Thanx for your help. I got Project 4 and tried it out.
Running with one of my Win98SE Machines I retrieve an Errormessage immediately after lunching Controller.EXE: Laufzeitfehler '50003': Unerwarteter Fehler. This means in English: runtime Error '50003': Unexpected Error Using XP it seems to work ![]() So I can play together with my 4 and 7 years old daughters. BTW: Did JJ2 have a COM interface? |
