I wonder if we should tell them about J2O. 25 new community members would be nice.

Hi
![]() I am the owner of that, a person named "NOBODY" refered me to this website and you just can't imagine how happy I was when I saw this! A fanlisting is a concept invented three years ago. You basically go to http://www.thefanlistings.org and apply to run a list of fans from all over the world of a certain subject, which can be *almost* anything. There can be only one official fanlisting for one subject. When you join a fanlisting, you're being listed on the members' page with your name, email addres (optional), site URL (optional) and the country you're from ![]() I applied to run Jazz fanlisting sometimes in January this year and I've had a shameful number of members so far...I knew there are more fans somewhere....but I didn't know where to go. The fanlisting is active, I am updating it whenever I get a new member. So, I'd encourage you all to join and I'll put a link to this site. I would also be glad to link all possible Jazz sites, feel free to email me and ask ^_^ And please, please, please, try to use real first names or *normal* nicknames, as well as valid emails. You can have your email address hidden if you want to, but please do give one. I won't be bothering you, I promise. BTW, my name is Iva, I am a female (if that matters) and I'll definitely be staying here ![]() |

...Apparently it is. Heh.
Welcome to the community! It's good to have another community that actually exists adjacently to this one. It's a neat concept, this Fanlisting thing; would any of the other members be active and capable of registering, too? That would be really neat. By the way...I do not think I have ever seen you online. Perhaps the list server patch might help? ![]() Edit: By the way, I'll sign up later today after school when I have a bit more time. =) ~ Traft |

As for playing online, I never tried. I have a crappy 33.6 dial-up modem which keeps on disconnecting me all the time and an analogue phone line. I am skeptic about it. One day I'll hopefully have cable internet and then...then I'll get addicted ![]()

Out of curiosity, why do you call your fanlisting "official"? Is it actually approved by Arjan or someone? Or do you just call it that because it's first?

@ Overlord: Which logo? Some image on my site? I didn't know that JJ3 was ever going to be released so I am slightly confused (as all the people who are pretty new to advanced stuff on this)
And....yup, that was spelled correctly. LOL! How do you know it? ![]() ![]() ![]() @ Unknown Rabbit: No, Arjan didn't approve me, but of course I wish he did...the fanlistings which are approved on thefanlistings.org are claimed to be official because the person who invented the whole concept used to run the site. It's slightly confusing if you're new to it. @ N0B0DY: *waves* Thanks a lot for telling me. I'd be living in dark otherwise, with just my friend from the other town and her brother of all the active players I knew before. @ dersproedel: Thanks for the welcome ![]()
