When J2LC was still active, it was (most of the time.
![]() Because that's what I want to do. Because I am going to do this, I'd like to know which people would rejoin. Afcourse, most old j2lc members will be able to join again. Also, if there's anyone that wants to join my mission, feel free to post here, and I'll look at your levels and see what you are worth in leveldesign. So far I know that from the old J2LC members Disguise wants to join, and I have accepted New Spaz into J2LC. By the way, any suggestions for a new name are welcome. _________________ -Fquist Proudly 1st to register |

Jazz 2 Level Creators.
A bit cheesy.. we might keep it for nostalgic reasons.. but maybe we'll drop it.. I have no idea. |
May 21, 2001, 09:51 AM | |
It'd be great if I could join (obviously...)
I have a lot of old unfinished levels, also some new unfinished levels, and if anyone downloaded "Live Wires", my first level (I was known as "i carnt spel") from J2C, although online it's far too laggy (hey I didn't play online then ![]() I'm restarting work on a big CTF pack too... My levels are never particularly mainstream, I always try and make sure that they're totally different from what has gone before (like the rest of my life ![]()

I'd be happy to join. I think SXR can speak for itself, although the reviews haven't really been fair. If I recall correctly, there were a nice amount of people that didn't like the pack, but it's more up for you to decide. I also have a newly-made tileset I'd want to show you...

Refused. Read your private message for details.. Quote:
I'd be happy to let you join. Your levels have always been good, along with your attitude. Quote:

Is that a request for a J2LC position? |

One of the things that happens in J2LC is the Roll Around The Clock Level. Player 1 starts a level, and player 2 continues working on it, and so on. It's a great way to make levels and learn to know eachother's styles.. If it can get off the ground since there are always inactive members that don't work on the level.

Ah, thats a good idea. I did that once.. You get really good results.
|
May 22, 2001, 01:33 PM | |
No, it isn't. I just want to know how.
|
May 23, 2001, 06:55 AM | |
I tried that once with Nitro (Dark Forest Fight), FQuist. It wasn't that great, but better than i could do alone anyhow
![]() And i'd love to help you that project, Fquist...O right, i'm not a member ![]() |
May 23, 2001, 10:22 AM | |
I would be very interested in joining a group like that, because the jj2 community needs a trademark like yours back.
I think Im good enough at building levels to join if you would allow new members.

Well, I'll hope you all well on your endeavors... but... must... not... grr... AUGH! I...will...now...hype...ELM...
ELM was officially the 2nd levelgroup, after ML. ELM (Elite Level Mappers) have a strict commitment to quality in all ways in all of their "products", and only the pinnacle of developers or ones with promising potential gets admitted. Here is a brief list of members (crossed out members are "retired"): SteelTalon(me, naturally ;P) - Co-Founder, known for nothing except *SMALL* levels as of yet, PreSenT PaST (a large and high quality CTF) due out soon "with a twist" and Entropy mode "seems intruiging". stripe - Known for HappyCTF. "Happy now?" ;P Wakeman - Known for "Dino Station" among several other levels, he uses his notorious J2C ruX0r r4t1ng sk1llz to develop levels. Ironically, he thought ELM had "died" until several weeks ago. iCeD - A fairly new edition. Known for "Inner Evil", he is working on a few nifty CTF's or so. Derby - The newest member of the team, known for the infamous Square Shutout on none other than Battle Server. Derby's ideas are original and we "eagerly anticipate" his future "products". |

Good members lineup.

Heheh, I remember years ago when I read the news post on J2C that ELM started. Of course then I still had the demo and thought: "Whoa, I would probarly never get to join that group" and then that night I went dreaming of being able to become a member. (you know, the imagination factor)
That soon changed to J2LC and I joined them so I never got to joining ELM, sorry guys ![]()

Heh, thanks Fquist. Your lineup is quite good, too (now, let's vote on ML, J2LC, or ELM! ;P).
PiZZa: Nya. ;P Hehehehe, Disguise, you still had the demo back then? I remember having the retail for quite a while when I started ELM (ahh, the "good 'ol" days...)... ![]() *notices how this has became a nostalgic thread* Hehe. (Wow, an abnormally number of "hehe"'s today. Maybe ST is sick. ;P) |
