Thy Player of Media beith a martyr of sux.
As of late, Windows Media Player has been doing odd things. When I try to play something, all the sound on my computer stops until I restart, and/or the program freezes. I still works about 10% of the time, though. Any idea of what may be causing this?

Please provide more information about your computer when posting technical queries. For instance, what operating system are you running? How much RAM? What version of Windows Media Player are you using? Is your computer fairly overloaded? Does anything happen or does the program just freeze? Does this occur when playing a CD, just off the hard drive, or vice-versa?
Also, is there anything different these 10 percent of times it works? There has to be - otherwise it would crash. ~ Traft |
