Well, I practically finished my first CTF level a few minutes ago. Won't release it on J2O right away though; I'll test it online first.
EDIT: The current layout of the level can be found here: http://img178.imageshack.us/my.php?image=layoutux6.png The shortest path between the bases can be pretty well defended with bouncers. (screenshot taken in JCS; too bored to do it any other way) |

I have abandoned Tropical Paradise. I am making a different tileset called: "Natural World". I going to try and make it 0% painty, and I will use Photoshop instead of MS paint. It will be 24 bit. I am trying to make it as good as good as Disguise's tilesets.

I was going to use the 24 Bit Method. EDIT - An early pic of "Natural World". http://www.savefile.com/files/158758 This is not the final version, it's just what I have drawn so far. It there is anything you think I should add or change please PM me. Last edited by PurpleJazz; Oct 14, 2006 at 04:15 AM. |

That's looking good so far! I noticed the "Hi SPAZ18" message at the bottom. Can't wait to see the final version.
I have decided to change my story for the Jazz Under Fire pack as Devan is overused as a villain. Can someone suggest me another villain that is NOT in JCS? Last edited by SPAZ18; Oct 14, 2006 at 08:37 AM. |

I'm now working on one of those Test levels. Can someone please suggest me a name for this level? How many tests should I put in?

@Spaz18 name it "Generic Test Level: Cliche Edition" And have about 28 tests, have at least 5 of them be exact replicates of prior tests in the level. |

Being helpful, huh?
SPAZ18, I suggest you stop starting different projects every couple of days. Did you even finish any of your previous ones? That would either render you incredibly quick or mean that you did not spend enough time on them. Just stick to one realistic project for a while and pull through with it.

Indeed.
While putting down the near-ready CTFs for a moment, I started making another (zzz) racepack. I ran out of imagination so I'll just call it Five Nooby Races II Screenshots so far: Level 1: http://img91.imageshack.us/my.php?image=fnr2-1-2.png http://img91.imageshack.us/my.php?image=fnr2-1.png Level 2: http://img91.imageshack.us/my.php?image=fnr2-2-2.png http://img91.imageshack.us/my.php?image=fnr2-2.png Level 3: http://img91.imageshack.us/my.php?image=fnr2-3.png http://img91.imageshack.us/my.php?image=fnr2-3-2.png I'll have to remove some foreground eyecandy in level 1 (distorts gameplay) and add some in level 2. Levels 4 and 5 aren't ready yet. |

Currently in progress: A new battle level, with the overused tileset diamondus beta (sorry, but I love it)!
No screens, though. D= Quote:
Haha, finally someone using Disguise tileset made for my contest. Figure it would never be used, but hey! *grins*

Rootalopicus by ET. The tileset can be downloaded here: http://tilesets.hewwo.com/contest/Rootalopicus.zip

Awesome! Thanks PJ7!
It's a small set but a lot can be done with it. |
