Let me restate. The warpgate is not near my base. It quite far away. I just have jump drives installed on my shuttles.
My page.

"No portals detected, ma'am," the Helmsman says. "Hmmm...perhaps they know where the portal is. Track any and all ships that go to and from that base," commands Jeanie. "Aye, ma'am." The EMP module has been added to the Thundaga Cannon! NEW WEAPON! EMP Cannon- Deals minor damage and disables all of the target's mechanical devices. Power: 50 MP: 5

Thinking about it, shouldn't the EMP cannon disable electronic devices, not mechanical devices? It would be stupid for an EMP to disable, say, a rifle. Unless said rifle has electronic targeting.

Argh. My Knucklehead level is at an all time high right now. XP *gives Professor Jeff a wedgie*
EMP Cannon has been changed to disable all the target's electronics. Jeanie is playing Final Fantasy Tactics to pass the time. @Xion: *is wondering what Xion is planning to do*

*ZIP* Risp loses a tooth.
Xion, back at Gran Da Val, grins at his antics. "See, Malta? That's the plan." Xion says to Malta, standing behind him. "Slight problem with this plan is that I don't have complete control over the chaos of the entire base. Though I can still wreak havoc on a single area." "What about mana?" Malta says. Xion reveals a stockpile of ten X-Potions in his pocket. "Those are X-potions, not Ethers." "True, but with Channel, anything's an Ether. I have created a technique that helps slow down my usage of Ether, which Baguba limits their supplies to 2,000 per year." Xion says, fondling his left ear (The one with the chip in it). "Now I can go in, grab a potion, and make that an easy Ether. And they don't make Ethers in 100 or 150 sizes, too." Xion gives a sly grin.

I hate it how almost all of Xion's plans involve attacking over long distances in ways that are hard to counter.
Rspss Fr turns his attention to the newly remade magic amplifier. He shunts some magic into it, and it in turn amplifies this and shapes the raw magic into a spell. A wirling vortex of antimanna appears then disperses around the base. Rspss Fr cast High Magic: Mana Trap! Any spell entering the base that is not cast by someone using the magic amplifier will immediatly be counteracted by the self-regenerating cloud of antimanna spanning the base. Rspss Fr regrows his lost tooth. Oh, and the mana trap also counteracts any form of applied magic that is not exactly a spell. That includes planeswalking, unless you actually manage to convince me planeswalking is not magic in any way. And, believe me, you will not. Oh, and don't worry. I can't actually cast any spells on anything not in the base, since this new magic amplifier is not yet tapped into my spell grid, and there is not enought time left in this universe for it to be.

Trapped in side his own mind, L_G senses the presence of a familiar planeswalker...
'Who...' thinks L_G. '...YOU GONNA CALL? GHOSTBUSTERS!' L_G had no idea that the thought he flung out was about to arrive at Xion's brain...and mess up his concentration. Badly. >XD

@Xion- that means any spell not amplified by a magic amplifier of the specific design of mine to appear in the area mana trap is around just dissapears. Instantly. No matter how impossibly fast it appears. Also, it does similar things to other forms of applied magic, like planeswalking. As a rule of thumb, if it takes mana or is not technology based it is most likely a form of applied magic.

He is talking about how you have done something that is destroying the universe yet all you want to do is save yourself (how can that be misunderstood? Are you saying you really want to help people but you just cannot somehow?), while we are evacuating as many innocent people as we can with the reasources we have.
And godo is good with one of the 'o's stepping outside for some fresh air.

Xion and Malta stare blankly at the pylon cord. "What happened?" Malta asks. Xion, in a panic starts to look back at the records of what just took place in the base. Seeing Risp use the Magic Amplifier, Xion gets incredibly angry.
"I cannot believe this!" Xion yells, disturbing Tia.

@Xion- you shouldn't be suprised. This is back in time before the pylon was ever made. Even before you found out about my alternate base, if I am correct. You would not even know the pylon exists (expecially since it does not and will not in this plane), unless you are some immortal being that lives out of time. Even though planeswalkers are stupidly powerful, I doubt they are that.
Of course, I suppose it could be that going back in time in one plane does not modify other planes, but that would have some horribly complex problems with it. Oh, and I might as well tell you about the paradox contamination. The holes would spread across the universe in an instant, but the universe resists them. Therefore it takes time for the holes to engulf the universe. They are possible to stop, but to do so you need a device that has a direct link to the forces of the universe. None of them are left, since you reversed the Pylon.

Wait a minute, I reversed the pylon? Granted, I may not have every ability available, but I am a time mage. Time mages can alter the flow of time, but they cannot go back in time. So if you think about it, Xion knows the pylon exists, and the alternate base, and everything else. Malta, Tia, and Diesel have these abilities (somewhat) so they are affected mildly. But Diesel doesn't know of the portal shootings, so...
And you have me here: Nobody within my base can go back in time. L_G, on the other hand... Oh yes, And another thing, my post was in the "present time of the post" n.n

"What is taking them so long?!" grumbles Jeanie as she looked up from her Game Boy. "Don't those people know that the universe could collapse on us at any second???" "Mmmm...Collapse II..." Well, considering when he got the resupply he talked to Niz, and she is at the base, it was most likely a warp recall.

Well, this dream sprite will not be able to enter the base, if my guess is right in that a dream sprite enters people's dreams. To even the odds, and to vent about how Xion thinks he can use any magic skill he likes even if he did not list him as being able to do it.
Rspss Fr leaves Niz back in the base to move the magic amplifier into the warp gate, via a transport ship. At the warp gate, a constant stream of transport ships and cargo ships go in, along with the occasional destroyer and escorts.

That's not the sprite's power.
Dream Shield- Sacrifice MP to redirect an attack at another target. If the antimatter junk that's consuming this universe catches up to us, Dream shield can rebound the energy back at itself, giving use more time to escape. This a last resort; Dream Shield takes up half of the user's current MP, and only works against energy attacks. "Ma'am, a ship just left the base!" the Helmsman says. "Well, let's follow it, then! Full speed ahead!" commands Jeanie. The Interceptor II gives chase, staying out of the ship's sensor range.

Actually, it is not antimatter. The holes are holes of nothingness. They cannot be blocked, as anything they touch becomes nothingness also and adds to the mass of the holes. So, basically, if the dream shield will just speed your doom.

@L_G-
1. She already knows where the warp gate is. I had known it's location since far before the start of the game. Remember that thing I used to get to Ragol? Its that, except now I have the resources to install a device to highten it's carrying capacity. 2. She started her journy at a base that you don't know exists, out of a transport carefully made to be invisible to sensors. You are not following her, unless the future you told Beth where my new base is (which is unlikely, since you went to my old base when looking for me.) @Xion- In what way? But anyway, you seemed pretty lost to me when I explained how the Pylon worked.

-I know that she knows where the warp gate is. And did you not think I couldn't just LOOK AROUND to find her ship? That and the fact that L_G is telepathic helps too.
-Jeanie traveled to your base at the beginning of this thread, after you petrified L_G, so it's safe to say that Jeanie knows where your base is. So nyah. XP

1. So being telepathic allows you to locate a person no matter where they are in all the galaxy? Wow.
2. I am talking about the base that the Pylon would be in if it had not been undone by you. The one that used to be Tangent's. Not the one you destroyed with that plea for help before the thread started.

Phooeigh. At least I still have telepathy.
FYI: Telepathy is not considered magic. 'Astro Grrrrl...' mutters L_G, his mental voice tired out from typing in all caps. He copies and pastes a mental map (drawn in crayons) of where Niz is in all of the minds of everyone on the bridge. "Full speed, uh...that-a way!" commands Jeanie, pointing where Niz's ship is located. The Interceptor flies towards Niz's transport, stopping before they fall into sensor range (and on a dime floating in space). They slowly pursue her, using asteroids as cover. The pylon within Tangent's base is not built yet, and never will, since this universe is about to go boom. There are zero pylons in the plane with Tangent Tangent is somewhere else, plotting our deaths. Planeswalking to that plane is impossible. Does that help?
