Ok, yes its legal, its just a fan game and im releasing the whole thing free code and all.
I have PM'ed you about how i made it so lets just keep this thread on the subject of the art compo. Glad your joining in !

Uhm.. does the banner really HAVE to be in the exact style seen on, like, the box covers and stuff..?
I'd prefer it being slightly altered.. you know, kind of like how Noogy's art looks a tad different, too..

Well, that rocks.
I've begun learning the JJ2 style today by copying a box cover mostly by eye.. http://chaos.foxmage.com/jazzandspaz.jpg ... not all too shabby, but note how rushed it looks. Copying something isn't too exciting for most artists.. it's restricting and, well, boring.
I'd show you my attempt to make it a little more Faw-stylish, but.. it just sucks too much and got cancelled. ^^;
