And, by the way, I found a good use for it already. You come out of a 'machine-like-construction' and another Jazz (MCE 196) comes out with you. Anyone know, by the way, what is the MCE for an ordinairy blaster shot being shot right out of a crate? Just like I've seen wind right + Electro Blaster and Bomb Crate with a Lighting Shield shot out of it.

Try #1. Or maybe look at Stronghold Jazz. Or an MCE list. Or any of the existing body of information.

Top Secret 1, made by Overlord has clear instructions how to make MCE's. You can find them below in the tileset.

And you must download RHG for that tileset...... :-\

The article Cooba linked to is actually slightly inferior to the one Violet has on JCSref (See Modifying your newly understood MCE under GENERATOR). I still don't see the purpose of having both the JCS article section on J2O and the JCSref website. If you ask me, instead of JCS articles on J2O, there should just be a link to JCSref where anyone with J2O membership can post an article (or I should say "a tutorial" since it's a little more than an article). But... that's probably asking for too much.

Having the source code would make everyone change the game until it wasn't JJ2 anymore.

Well, I haven't thought about it that way.

I think we must capture all EPIC programmers and use them as slaves to program jj2 patches and stuff!

Nice idea for a poll in the future forum: If EPIC would give us the sourcecode, what kind of game would you make of JJ2?

But JJ2 would lose it's shine if EPIC would do that, that could be a reason why EPIC won't give away the sourcecode.(Is my grammar correct? )

We don't really have to worry about pokemon or DBZ characters in the game, considering the people who can actually read and understand the source code are probably too smart to do stupid things like that.

Imagine a Jazz 2 SDK. *shudders*

And I don't think that many people want to modify the sourcecode, it's dang hard and confusing writing in C++!

And someone could modify the sourcecode in such a way that it can be used to as some sort of spyware.

And the servers will get problems with players who have different mods.

And BTW; PAGECLAIM! In the name of err.... ehm..... eh...

Jazz2 simply needs some patches and we all want some extra functions in the game. And if we would be in the posession of the sourcecode, then those ideas could be realised. That's the drive behind it.
