hmm no offense rep, but why dont you just play for VS on bot tourneys. Sure they're being friendly and stuff by letting u play, but its a bit silly having 4 clans and 1 team on the TB tournament... dunno it's just stup imo...

I think it's not likely that CTF will go through, but one clan more and TB will be played! Hurry up, 65 minutes left as we speak!

I see that the amount of interesm among the JJ2 clans is so low that they even refuse to sign up for a proper Clan Tournament. I'm kind of disappointed, to be honest.
Well, since this plan ain't working out, I have to come up with another idea to save the day. The CTF Cup kind of turned into a joke, since only a lousy 3 clans bothered to sign up for it, so that's out of question already. Because of the current so-called "Team Battle Hype", I guess it would be fun to host something with this gametype.

My suggestion (also inspired by R3ptile) is to hold a Clan Cup for Team Battle after all, but with 5 clans instead of 6. Normally, I would've divided those 6 clans over 2 poules, but now I'll put them all in one poule. It will be a Single Competetion cup, which makes a total of 10 matches. After this poule, there will be a playoff phase (#1 vs. #4, #2 vs. #3) and then a final and 3rd/4th place match - which makes a total of 14 matches, played in about 2 months, I think.

On the other hand, I could host a 3vs3/2vs2 TeamBattle Cup where people can select their own teams. In this way we would probably get more teams, but it's not a Clan Tournament anymore.

In short, thgis concept fails, but there are a few alternative paths we may choose. I'd like to hear some comments.

NOTE: The TB Mappool will probably be revised since some new maps have been published recently which are worth playing.

Well, I don't think that JJ2 is less active than it used to be. Keep in mind that LB was fake, FoR was almost totally inactive and JSZ was kinda... dead. Besides, C-C is just as big as about 4 clans combined......

imo teambattle with choosing your own teams > clan teambattle. more people will play that way too

By the way, C-C will not participate in JJ2WC3 if it would only be teambattle. There aren't enough alpha warteam members who really like tb enough (the only one I can think of is Umba). Just tb isn't worth the struggle of getting the clan active at JJ2 again now that everyone is at RS or AoE3.

If there is going to be a 3vs3 tournament for CTF, I will surely play.

You do not need days to learn a certain level.

Hmm I would like the 5 clans clancup, mayb expand the signup a few days and there might come more people. I will try to expand my team anyways, cuz it seems it is kinda small.

u cant say CTF suxx... there's tons of reasons why it is superior to the jj2 tb actually, plus the specter of ctf levels is far wider to that of good TB levels. But thats not the point, or so I dare presume, the point is you're better at battle hence u wish to play TB.
I do agree it takes less coordination and teamplay as opposed to CTF which means less practice is needed. In that respect I must agree that TB would be quite welcome, as most teams hardly practice nowadays and are discouraged to play ctf because of it.

OR, since players in Team Battle can't run towards each base and don't have arrows to follow, it requires a lot more coordination and teamplay. It just depends on how the levels are played.
