It was kinda cheap since it was essentially part of the rules if I'm not mistaken.

By that logic, if we are doing a rematch, shouldn't you tell Birdie what your hidden tricks are?
I finished my battle already also.

There are no hidden tricks. It all depends on how I USE the light. Which is rather obvious, since it's a PRISM cat.
If anything, it's the cat part that you need to worry about.

It's because apparently people thought I wasn't "fancy" enough to beat a shape shifter. Why didn't you say it was a shapeshifter, Birdie? Or for that matter, what it was in general?

I voted for FoG because it was better executed. While I agree that Prism would be lots of fun in the future, FoG was the clear winner here. FoG's art was better and attacks were more interesting, while Prism just shot fire and was mostly done with images taken from your initial animation. This is a competition, not a campaign; we are supposed to vote based on who did a better job rather than who we think will do a better job in the future. I mean, I think a future battle with Eirrukovi dodging beams of fire from a kitten would be amazing, but I don't want that to influence me.

I thought it wasn't a battle based on how well you could draw. If I had known that, I would've sketched everything.

But what did you think it was based on? The only thing you had over Birdie was that future battles with Prismcat might be kind of fun, and we shouldn't let that influence our decision for this battle.

Saying you didn't have to draw well doesn't mean the result is random. I didn't draw anything and I beat Crimi. Risp just did sprites in Paint and beat Paco. You have two chances to do something better than your opponent, not necessarily drawing. Like I said, future battles with PC may be interesting, but it's unfair to vote on the character rather than the battle.

This concerns me about my fighter. Prism Cat was fighting using basic attacks involving light, yet he lost to some stupid face on a wall. How does my soldier fight? With a laser gun and some grenades.
So if my soldier picked a fight with FOG, I would be wasting hours of drawing time because Everybody else will love FOG for simply turning my rabbit into a red smear. So that means that opponents who fight involving a basic element cannot fight against a target that is more "Random" with his attacks. I think we are going to need some guidelines set up on how to vote. |

I think it's a statement that you feel threatened because of something imaginative. The voting is based on opinion, and I think that the consensus is that you just vote for the person who overall entertained the audience better. Can it be that hard to realize that it's not about who wins or who draws better? A basic element can be turned into something creative with ease.

If you don't think you can outdo it in the "ooooh" department, you can try to outdo it in another. It's all about fighting apples with oranges... or something. I butchered that analogy.

Puffie, it's not that hard to be imaginitive with your characters. For example, in the last three seconds I thought of Rabbitearth Soldier calling a bunch of friends and they throw the Face of God up into the air. And that's not even a good attack.

I guess I could sum up my comments what that Yes, I feel a little threatened about these imagnitive attacks. I take things in a technical matter when it comes to situations.
Plus, I replied just after I came out of a chemistry final, so I was a little strung out... After reading you post thunder, I thought of a good attack, But I'll keep it on hand incase I face off with someone... ![]() |

If the factor was sheer power, then why would we need to have everyone vote?
