Yes lets all hurry.

Unfortunately I wont be able to play till next friday : - ]
And Sperry will be on holidays from next Saturday till the week after.
I guess we'll be able to play a lot though when I'm there. We'd have to play splitscreen however =\ so I'd prefer not to play though.

Heh. But yeah, the schedule idea is great, you don't necessarily have to play that team that week. It's just so the tournament progresses further and won't take as long. If your 'scheduled' to play some team that can't play that week, you can always play someone else, because it's just like 'guild lines' that can be followed throughout the tourny. GG Qz.

Red Bracket: <33 vs. OEDOTWHAB
(DS hosted both rounds)

Round 1: Jungle's Edge
5-0 <33

Well, this was a fast game. Sperry and Veg scored the 1st point fast and rapidly scored points till 4-0. The 5th point took quite a while though. Anyway, it lagged a lot for Hitch, he saw lagclones etc.

Round 2: Whantil (OEDOTWHAB's choise)
5-2 <33

This round was closer, you could even say almost even. The points were long, both teams had opportunities. <33 took a 2-0 lead, but OEDOTWHAB came back strongly to 2-2. Then the points became really close. Flagcarriers were killed a lot and teammates were ready to capture. There were lots of fake carrots - but both teams fortunately didn't score at 3hk's. The last 3 points were for <33 but they didn't had an easy time getting them, especially the last one.

Final score:
10-2 <33

Confirmed...But I do have a story...

Alright, so Ds hosted, and I usually don't have any problems with him, but for some crappy reason, I could only see Veg's lag clone, as goes for sperry, and when I did get a chance to kill, I didn't even know about it. I mean, I've never had this many problems with DS hosting but seriously, comon', this was BAD. Anyway, I'd call the game a "Close your eyes and hope to kill game." <33 did a good job with what they had, and I'm sure I wasn't a challenge at all, with the way I performed today. I wish WE could of split the hosting, with Veg hosting once and me, it could of been more fair, but you know, it sucks. As far as the scores, I don't believe them...blah blah blah, Hitch likes to complain ;D

<33 vs. olol: 10-4

Round 1: BBlair (DS hosted, their choise)
5-0 <33

Bah, we were soo unlucky every single time. This game was really fast, we died at the same moments constantly.

Round 2: Atom Heart 243.5 (Veg hosted, our choise)
5-4 <33

We were actually leading 4-0 here, but.. we still lost though. Again some unlucky timing, especially at the end. We were 2 cm from a 5-0 win and a draw, but well, 'it wasn't meant to be' :P ..

About scoring etc: each overall win is worth one point. Every round win is worth another point.

So, for example:

Team A vs. Team B: 5-0 5-2 ---> Team A: 3 points, Team B: 0 points
Team A vs. Team B: 5-0 4-5 ---> Team A: 2 points, Team B: 1 point
Team A vs. Team B: 5-2 2-5 ---> Team A: 1 point, Team B: 1 point

Took us a while to figure out how to play AH together. I could easily DD most of the time and such, but scoring was like impossible as Sperry hated the level soo much and she lagged a lot .

Anyways, at 3-0 she told me to give her the flag mostly, so I can kill and be R when its needed. That went better. They scored 4-0 still. Then Sperry recaptured, I killed DS and Quickz immediately, then weird enough Sperry missed the scoring opportunity! >: [ I got mad then. . Anyways, thats when we started playing better and better. I could actually kill the flagcarrier usually and she could score. When the first point was scored the next 2followed soon.

Then at 4-3 they wanted to win the match still or something and it got even again. We however scored still though. I kinda liked how I at times died without DS and Quickz knowing I had low health, just to give Sperry the flag. G_G

JT vs. RHSP

Round 1 (Robee) KMC:
5-1 Dragon/Wielki

Round 2 (Ragnarok) semi:
5-0 Yax/SQ

Overall: 6-5 RHSP

(2 points RHSP, 1 point JT)

Both rounds lagged a lot for both teams, unfortunately..

[olol] vs [GP]

Round 1: Atom Heart (Sweet hosted, [olol]'s pick) 5-1 [olol]

Round 2: Quasar Quandary (DS hosted, [GP]'s pick) 5-0 [olol]

Overall: [olol] (3 points) def. [GP] (no points) 10-1.

Anyway, I'll get the bracket results and standings online today, probably.

Oh, annoucement:

Whantil is out, Ice Cream Island will replace it.. Well, Hitch and Birdie were probably the only team who'd choose Whantil and now are the only team to choose ICI, so that makes it fair ;P gg. The mappool for the K.O.-stage will be different, so don't worry.

Why is Whantil out? It lags terribly, several people complained about it etc. and I played it myself now, we had endless discussions in-game etc.

About the game:
Sasik hosted both rounds, we were short on time, so - because Carrotade crashed all the time - we played the first round without Carrotade, but with Forest. We picked Atom Heart 243.5 and won that round 5-1.

Well, round 2 was, yes idd, in Whantil. It lagged terribly for all of us, but they played well at the beginning and scored the first two points. Then the troubles started with 3hk's, lagclones, weird arrows, airs etc. Birdie scored while Hitch was brb, but fortunately Sasik was so kind to set their score back to two. Then there were some 3hk's and we were able to score our first point. 3hk's just kept coming randomly and at a certain point we all didn't know the score. They claimed the win, we claimed -3 for 3hk's etc. and it wasn't really nice, so we decided to stop. After having a look at the logs (Sasik as host, Hitch for blue and Quickz for red), we decided it actually was a 5-2 win (instead of 4-1) for [OEDOTWHAB], so gg guys.

So now both teams get one point for winning a round and [olol] gets the extra point for the overall win.

Ok, now my side of the story.

In Round 1, Sasik hosted, as he was the only host on msn at the time. Unfortunately, the carrotade he used would crash, so he used Forest. We started the game out stupid, with me and Birdie losing badly, but we didn't give up. There where some close calls, where me or Birdie would be at the flag, but Ds or Qz would score for some strange reson. --Forest. Anyway, at that point, it was 0-4 for Blue. Then we got better, and better, and finally scored to make it 1-4. At that point, we seemed to outrunning Ds and Qz in the game, but Ds camped the crap out of the Carrots, so it was a hard time getting health if we did have 1 or 2, which is the same in this level. At that point, Birdie died 2 seconds after saying "1" and I had 1 myself, and unfortuneatly, Qz scored before I got to the flag, Bg.

In round 2, our choice, Whantil, yes the level that got picked out, but hey, we pwn just as good in ICI. So, in the beginning, we got off to a smooth start, and me and Birdie managed to kill Qz and Ds at the same time, luckily. After about 2-0, sucedded to get DOMINATE, since Sasik got carrotade finally turned on. As well as Birdie, who had several killing spree's. After I got back from my "brb" break, We scored 2 more, to make it 4-0, BUT Qz and Ds complained about them being 3hk's, which where probably true. After that, the score was still 2-0, and Ds somehow got a lucky score with Birdie dieing, and me not being R in time. But, we managed to make it 4-1, after a tone of air's and mis concluded 3hk's. At that point, I was for sure, we would win, with a final score of 5-1, but not, Qz got lucky and killed me after Birdie lost the flag making it 4-2. At that point, the score at the top of my screen showed 6-2, but in reality it was 4-2. Soon after that happened, me and Birdie managed to kill Qz, and Ds around the same time, making it an automatic game. To conclude, we enjoyed it when the score was 5-1(Really 3-1) but at the end, it just got pathetic, and stupid, making whantil out of the mappool, pff. Anyway, I had fun. If we re-matched these games, with Carrotade in Atom Heart, we could have had a better chance. Believe me.

I'm not sure if I should respond to this as Supervisor of the tournament, but as parcipent then: It's just lame to say 'which where probably true' when you know they were, since you read the chatlogs.

Well, it isn't such a big difference. The only disadvantage is the fact that you should remember who carries the flag, but that counts for both teams. And we could've done a lot better in Whantil as well with less lag.

Anyway, this is getting childish ;P gg anyway.

Unactive teams till now:

CFC (Chiyu/Shaney) - out
WW (FireSworD/Unhit) - active
LiB (Grytolle/Maverick) - active
RAWR (R3ptile/Turkawka) - out
VIP (AJazz/nonomu198) - semi-active, lol.
NAOSB (St.Louis/Sucer) - active
AA (Majorek/Yum) - half active

If some players/teams think they won't manage to play any of their matches (because of themselves), please let me know, so I can get some replacements. Also, if you think your teammate can't play, try to find a new partner, but just post here (so you don't look unactive and risk being kicked).

For standings and results, check the tourney-page, it's updated now.

Also, ???? at Shaney. Its a darn tournament, not CC.
Its not like anyone would notice you leaving the tournament. I'd suggest just play for fun and training for the sake of it. If you don't want to play then you'll get replaced. Its impossible to "backstab" the tournament =\

SkulL is Majorek's new teammate and they are in the Black Bracket now
R3p and nonomu teamed up and are also in Black
PurpleJazz replaced cooba earlier, he and Rag stay in Red

So, one spot left in Yellow and one in Blue
One spot is for valmango/Mastersven, probably the one in Yellow
Also, Enigma is finding a teammate, otherwise maybe some iR team can join.

ok our game vs. Ric and Anubis is done

first round: 1-5 in Superconductor
horrible game. emp hosted and lagged a lot. i doubt we could've done any better.

second round: 5-4 in Ice Cream Island
the result does not reflect the match as we were pretty much dominating throughout all of it, they were just lucky enough to sneak points here and there.

i find this rule of counting single level results extremely dumb, might even lead me to quit this tourney.. you can never expect players with such crappy connections such as nonomu and i to totally crush our opponents in every single level.

Ok, I didn't play for awhile, realy sucked. St.Louis server had 550 ping for poor R3P and I had "only" 500. Ok so we lose. But we had one point right? We can win the next one. So I hosted ICI cuz my server dosent lag for BI and it wil be more or less fair after St.Louis (less if you ask me). Something happened, and we sucked. I don't blame R3p, nor myself, something realy (-)ed in there and we only barely won.

And wuts up with that name, VAWP? Who made that up? We gutta get a new name. Seriosly.

edit:
didn't we say I post? wutever

Well, without that 'extremely dumb' rule you would end up with zero points, while you now get one point for winning ICI.

@ R3p (and people): I told you many times to get another host if I lagged you too much.

Well, I hope we won't need them. First I take a look at the W-L record in matches, then in rounds. If people are still tied then, the first thing that counts is the result of the tied teams against eachother. If it happens that that's a draw, only then individual level scores will matter. Still, that's very unlikely.
