In the last national tourney there were 7 teams participating and still a few forfeit losses occured. (Yes, that was just half a year ago, and even getting 8 3v3 teams wasn't possible.) Sven is way too optimistic about the amount of teams. The countries that participated last time would most likely be in. If you add Sweden, Belgium and Croatia/Slovenia to them, there could be 10 teams at most.
And if that's allowed, I'd like to play for Germany. I've been living here for a few months already, and planning to stay here for at least a few years.

I think we will actually be needing some country alliances (that is to say, if we want a nations cup to be a bit more colourful than the Netherlands vs Poland over and over again), since you need 4 active players per country at the very least (no, not 3, definitely 4; there is always a player who can't make it, who forgets about the game, who had something unexpected come up, you name it; just 3 players in a team is almost guaranteed to result in mass forfeits).

I think it's doable as well. Although the croatians probably don't need me

Anyway if the players agree and if they play some matches together I'm sure alliances could be formed and there is no reason they couldn't work out just as good.
The favourites remain the same of course, but I bet some wicked alliances could shake things up (enigma, riccardo, urbs ftw).

Thing is Serbia has enough players on its own, why should I, for example play instead of say, Afiiko? I benefit of course, but there is no guarantee we will win if I play. And if we lose, all the Serbian players that got left out would be furious.

And if we add to the equation Croatia, with King and his vile temperament, things could get tricky, is all I'm saying. Serbia could be a powerhouse in it's own right. Although I wouldn't mind playing for a Yugoslav team, if that's what you're asking me Lith

In current form, the Dutchies would take it easily. You would basically get the CC alpha warteam playing minus Grytolle. Granted, I think Grytolle is one of the most under-estimated players (still!), they should still comfortably cruize to victory. Romania could do very well, if Ana, Kryt and Kenny would do a couple of trainings. Poland has an insane amount of players, but that's not always a good thing (like in the hypothetical case of Yugoslavia - we would be forced to mybe add players into the team not based on merit or on team chemistry but on national faultlines. If I were an ass I could say that each nation should have one spot in every game, which would make me play every game, for example.I wouldn't do this, I'm just ilustrating an example.)

Well that'd be the problem Urbs,but I'm sure we'll deal with the team issue. We could even do trainings and see which team fits the opponent.

Sorry Ana,but I don't think Czech Republic and Romania should play together. Romania already has a lot of players and they weren't in the same country before (well,not the whole country,and it'll interfere with Yugoslavia),if we are to use the countries that used to exist before.

I think if a nation has enough members, they shouldn't make an alliance. As for Urbs, there are more people from Croatia (Snake,King,more?), so a Croatia-Slovenia alliance would be enough.

As far as I know,there are only King and Snake. Even if they ally with Urbs,they'll still have just 3 members. That's still not enough for a team to work,as someone said before.

I could join Slovenian team I think, if that's ok. I'm all alone here. Italy is next to Slovenia so it should work, and I'd be glad to play with Urbs

@Urbs: With nationality from an alliance I mean that if, for example Slovenia and Croatia have an alliance that then all people with a nationality from those countries can play there, no others.

@Lithium: You said let Gry play where he wants to play, I think he does not have the Belgian nationality though he lives there, just as Veg probably wont have the Irish nationality. Get the point?
