Lori Central back up soon? Yay!

Ah yes. I remember the days where in anticipation of a lag filled server, I'd log on to J2C and check for updates, laughing at Wakeman's lack of tardiness ( ) before checking the good 'ol JMMB. Then, I'd join some servers, on occasion have a quick chat with Martin or Whitefang, and run around Diam. Warzone. Yes, those were the days.

What makes me prefer those old days? It's simple really, I had many friends who have since left the community. Clans were something that were revered and seemed important, and joining MERC was always something people scrabbled for. There was alot more excietement about things, and alot more listservers too. Generally, there were no people who flammed and cussed and acted like dimwits with the exception of a few. How things change.

I claim 2nd page!

I only entered the community just at the end of the 'good old days', so I don't remember them much. What we all should do is strive to make these new days also good and memorable.

Ah, the good old days.

When ShadowGpW was just a member of GpW and Xeno\Ellinger\Ghaleon\Tien\Blood wolf\muza\Veryn was the leader.
When Scorp still used to have time to play JJ2 and had many names and extended the life of the JCMB and then shelled out cash for the CMB.
When there was no J2HG and Black Ninja still wasn't a part of it.
When Everlasting and pennywise's programs were unheard of.
When the JMMB's post queen and most active moderator\admin was still Admael.
When J2LC and ML were the only good major level groups at the time.
When Martin's silent slayers and other levels were still hosted on servers.
When QoB was only beaten by very few people.
When Dethman, MErlin, Martin, Dark MooGoo, stripe, Bluez, EugeneUOI were the 'best' players around when it comes to CTF and\or Battle.
When Outlaw UOI and Biohazard UOI were still active and were still very recognizable.
When Krezack was still slizer and mostly played Age Of Empires.

To be continued...

ok, im here at my aunts house, babysitting my nephew, so im bored anyway, let me tell you guys the unfamous story of the two CC spies.

like 1.5 years ago, when i was still playing, -well, i had a few 2-day breaks to get attention-, i was joking around together with Flea (dunno if that was his name hehe, but im pretty sure bout it) about CB, like we, and many others, always did. I got a wonderfull idea... lets spy on CraccoClan! We created to spy names, really dumb, newbie-ish names, and acted like real CCers.
we did all the crazy cracco tests, and let CraccoBoy get an F on his french test, cause he had to "train" us all night long and forgot to study harharharhar! .
CB told me he had over 400 members, and he told my spyname he had like 50 members (the 25 spies everybody had probably included). Then, one day, we were "training" together with CB in one of his crappy Cracco levels, we told him we were BlinK and Flea.. hahahahahhahahaha it was so funny.. while he trained us (he didnt know we were both dutch) he talked to one of his friends.. saying in dutch "dude, do you trust these two?" "one of them is really weird' and stuff like that... hahahahah it was so funny... that was one of the later-good-old-days..
the real good old days were the one when i was in FR, and after that it died. Then i created CR, my awesome - ghetto - Cool Rabbits Clan, met Nitro, friend for life, did 4 clanwars and lostem all. The day CB arived was like the invasion of the newbies,
75% of them are weirdo's, and joined CC, the other 25% are actually pretty cool.

and no, i dont hate newbies, i just like to **** Craccoboy off.

Oh yes the old days.. When VeggieClan actually had members.. Wow! That was something.. and we were good allies with Army of Darkness. And Nemesis AD and Spy AD made sweet battle levels. I still have them all.

Oh yeah, and Freelance actually used that name and did jobs for clans as far as spying went. Funny times. And the Gold Knights were big clan. Haha! Too funny.

The best part of the old days was you could go online and find tones of servers.. there was always someone to battle with and at all times.

Yeah, stripe was good. It was me and 2 others VS him once and I switched to his team because he was whooping behind.

Martin was the coolest. Ask WhiteFang. He had the best levels, and was one of the best players who's ever wiped me out.

The days where Shadow was just a member of GpW and Xeno was leader. Grg. Waaah, Xeno left. Not fair.

ever had Bluez and Dark MooGoo against you in a CTF level where you don't know where to find the powerups, or for that matter, where the bases are? I don't think I've EVER been so sorely whooped.

Hey, I still run martin's levels! Crimson Diamond, Surfs Up CTF, Carrotus Squash, hells angels...just ask Krezack.

Does anyone even remember my name when I was a newbie??

Anyway, even though we all miss the good old days, the present isn't so bad. New levels and tilesets are still being made and there's still a website for uploading stuff. And the fact that some levels looked redundant and boring resulted in level makers to work harder and thus make better levels. JJ2 has come a long way since the good old days, and it's still prospering to this date (even if it isn't as fast as most people would want it). So in all, I'm kinda glad we're not stuck in the good old days, though I still miss Jazz2City and Universe Jazz and Jeh and Dethman and some other stuff.

I guess we shouldn't dwell too much on the good old days, yet we don't have much to dwell on the future. There will never be a Jazz 3, 1.25 isn't for sure, so what can we depend on for the future?

I wasn't the leader of GPW. And I'm surprised you remember more of my names than I do.

I remember.....
- When I was a complete newbie (I was mean to EVERYONE), this was when I first played JJ2.
- When friends on JJ2 helped me out of my depression (This was also in the beginning)
- When people liked my creative, yet useless, levels
- When there wasn't any "annoying" newbies
- When my Town level was the only one of it's kind (It was NOT a hotel, I repeat, it was NOT a hotel)
- When I made music packs for J2C (Of other games' music)
- When such good friends of mine as AniFreak (IceWing), AtomicTaco, etc. (They are the only ones that I can remember off the top of my head that aren't around here now)
- When I had an enemy in the 666 clan.

To be continued.......

Oh oh oh! Atomic Feline! I remember him!

Anyhow, I was Gameleader till I left that time. Anyhow:

Continued from previous Xeno post:

-When I multiclanned (Ugh)
-When I actually joined clans
-When I was in the joke clan, Lamers (XenoZeLame was the name I used in that clan)
-When people didn't blame me for things I never did, I won't name anyone who did blame me.
-When there was no such thing as clones
-When.....when......when

1. When someone actually was begging to get that new tileset that just came out
2. When people actually hosted servers in _honor_ of you
3. When people actually thought your level was _rad_
4. People never came into your server and said "God, this level SUCKS! SUCKS!" and left making you feel like either cursing them out or sitting and sulking in a corner
5. When there were more than 3 pages of servers up
6. When people were actually friends and not total enemies that curse eachother out and threaten
7. When you had a challenge you took it seriously
8. When everyone used to write in CAPS (I did when I had the name 7OF9)
9. When someone cloned your name you took it into your hands with extreme priority
10. People didn't clone you just to make you the bad guy; to go around cursing people out so when you came back later you would be thought of as a cold-hearted rabbit.
