It's a refreshment to see brian's dedication and a return of mr. classic site, Jazz 2 City.
Jazz 2 City was after all, a jazz 2 city, where everyone lived, although hopefully not for too many hours. It defined those of us (most people here) who were around then doing jazz 2 related things. go Brian! Rocky |

Sorry for not replying sooner, as I've been away for a few weeks. If Brian is willing to give me access to his server, I'd be happy to upload all of the old levels, as I still have a complete collection of every download there ever was on Jazz 2 City. Although it would probably be easier just to make my Jazz 2 folder and it's 7000 files available online.
![]() At any rate, from my perspective, Jazz 2 City went down because it consumed too much of my life. I admit that I probably never would have stopped if DethMan hadn't asked me to, but it was definitely the right decision, and I only regretted it for a year or so. ![]() ![]() To me, updating J2C again would be like Disney making a sequel to Snow White. It would just ruin an old classic. Enjoy the archives of J2C and J2S when they come, but there is no dishonor in moving on. We always commend people in this community who have stuck around the longest, but I don't think we should any less commend those who have chosen to move on from Jazz 2 if they know that is the right thing to do in their lives. Sometimes those who try the hardest to preserve the community end up being the ones to push people out. -Steven |
