I think I know what Criss means, during playing UT2004 I came across a mutator that allowed one to make their own personal gravity go towards a wall so they could walk on it as it it was the floor, it is indeed very cool.

What Chris was suggesting sounded more along the lines of something temporary. Like, if you build up enough speed, being able to walk across/jump off walls or the ceiling Matrix-style. Or at least like that Half Life 2 level where you were driving the boat through the pipes and could go up the walls and stuff. It's not a bad idea; an appeal of the Jazz games, at least for me, was always how fast and easily you could move around. A lot of 3D games feel slow and mechanical, like you are only moving until you hit something, then you stop and have to move somewhere else. It always feels like there's no inertia, or any of the fun tricks associated with it.

Easy: you turn Jazz teal, change his name to Xazz, and make billions of dollars off the game. Then you buy epic.

I just really wanted this to be cleared up:
Indie. A definition found online reads These are games produced by individuals or small game development studios without financial assistance from a publisher. Thats how it was used in the first post, it was not referring to some developer for a snowboard game. @Ambesoftware- Are the Lizards and turtles just boxes, or are there models for them as well? |
Mar 22, 2007, 10:04 AM | |
I mean the source code for Jazz 2. And epic said it's not for sale. Neather is the license. I think epic is a big pile of c!#@#$@@#$!!
|
Mar 22, 2007, 10:15 AM | |
n00b, no they are animated stand-in models consisting of boxes.
SonicNathan 1, why are you talking about Jazz 2?
