Gamespot - Has more screenies
Ug... Stormtrooper turtles... And I think I recognize the colony sewers in there. WE WANT THE OLD BUNNY, NOT THE OLD TILESETS! And all the new ones I saw don't look very well drawn. Hey, that snow one is mistiled! Ugh... ack...bleh... Another FiXors the Jazz Jackrabbit fan

You know, I hate to say it, but the close up of those storm-trooper turtle faces look too much like Koopa Troopa's wearing Lawrence of Arabia outfits. ... Oh... and what gives with the bucket-o-money? Looks like something from those old Ren and Stimpy video games... ... Didn't I already whoop that giant lizard guy in Torok for GBC?... Or Jurrasic Park?... ... OK... NOW I JUST KNOW THAT ROCKET CAME FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE... Looks like the Bean-with-bacon Megarocket seen from overhead... Could it be that Jazz isn't the only one getting burned here?... I still will buy, but now I'm getting rather nervous... Oh, and it's good that they're bringing back the lost vikings- I loved that short-lived series. "It's for my daughter- I swear!" -Olof the Stout Lost Vikings.

Is it just me or are the new tilesets used in the game very ugly compared to the already existing ones? And yes, the turtles look like crap..gosh...I tried not to think bad about the game, but now it looks like its going to be weird..

I'm still willing to kind of give it a chance, but those turtles look awful!
On the plus side, I do like the job they're doing refurbishing the JJ2 tilesets. Nice new stuff. And that toaster looks great.

Hmm, interesting difference in quality between the tilesets. The snow one doesn't look too good, but the metal one does look good, although it's not Nick style.

I don't care if each attack has a different gun. Do you mean that this might elude to the fact there are other characters?
The IGN article has already said that there will be no Spaz, but there might be a surprise in store. That would be great.

Yes, you're right. I misread it.
It would be really nice if they were to include Spaz, but no screenshots have showed him yet. It's still I possibility, but unfortunately it seems that they either aren't making a big deal of it, or Spaz will be missing.

I dunno, I'm a little scared at how they would draw Spaz! (If Jazz looks that bad, please, god, spare me from seeing how they would redo Spaz!)
And about the gun difference: that means he might have the good ol' blaster afterall! (Or something remotely similar.) That gun definetely isn't the rocket-launcher/bazooka type thing from the other screenies. Another Fixors teh Jazz Jackrabbit fan

In the interest of getting on topic, I've recently been checking Nintendo.Com to find info (I had nothing better to do). Nothing that I can see so far. But, when I get my November issue of Nintendo Power (Nintendo's official magazine), I'll check.
