Yeah, I've never gotten used to building levels. Just messing around with pixels was the key. I'll try building a level after the tileset.

My next idea is to make a house tileset for a house level. I played some game where some people from a clan made a house map of their clan. I noticed J2O had a database of hotel levels. This gave me a idea to make my own.

originality is unimportant, compared to the level being worth the play, and definitely not anything you have to strive for consciously bcuz then this can happen and u wouldnt want that on ur conscience |

You should wright an article Grytolle! That would help some crappy level creators like FireSworD, BlurredD, Snooze, Cooba, Birdie, Violet and Evilmike to maybe create something decent.

I just now noticed this. It heavily reminds me of jill of the jungle, even though brick tiles like that are so common.

There is one a few pages earlier in the thread. Currently I'm sort of doubting on whether to keep the ground as it is so any pictures of the current state aren't really representative.
It's more of a "fire temple" themed set than anything else, though even that is not finalized yet. |

Nice, but also annoying.
Springs (that are necessary to pass some part...) in a race are kinda 'meh'. As when you're shot, kicked, stomped (or hit by an uppercut...) u can't use them for a while and I'm positive that no one wants that. ... This, however, is just my own opinion on this, good job otherwise. |

I've contemplated it for several other races, for frogs and birds, this level probably won't include that feature, here's a question, does anyone actually think I should try a bird/frog race?
Nope. ;o Try again later. My other race is the one packed with shortcuts, then again, no reason not to put loads of shortcuts here either. |

About my Emerald Forest map (I made it a looooonnnnng time ago), well I know it's finished, but I'm going to restart making it. It is way too small so I'm going to expand its size. I am going to keep its name, but change it [the tileset] to night and it's going to use aws_cave.xm for music.
Edit: Screenshot: As you can see, I think I got the mood of the level down pretty well with this piece of music.
