*sticks a fork in Empy's right eye*
Do that again, and you'll get one in your left eye.

We confidently strode West. After doing so, a rabid hyena robot confidently leapt from the shadows and attempted to devour us, but luckily I confidently blew him to pieces with my awesome rocket launcher.
I somehow felt the need to utter a one-liner at this point, so I puffed out my chest and declared, "We might have won, but he got the last laugh." "Not bad," said Uberbob. "Work on your delivery a little." We now stood at a dead end, but at least we ourselves weren't dead... yet. ![]() |

We traveled East, North and West. We came upon yet another rabid hyena robot. He looked very happy to see us; he looked even happier when he was eatting us all alive.

Can we just go straight to the rocket launcher, pick it up, go to the teleporter, teleport to maze 2, then go N, W, N?

Don't forget to carry out the command you wanted to after that.

We went North, into a maze titled "The Polar Dervish," then traveled North, North, East, North, West, North, West, North, West, North, East, North, and East, picked up a rocket launcher, then went West twice, teleported, and THEN went North, West and North. Traveling North, we encountered the very first Northward hallway we had seen thus far in the maze. The walls of said hallway echoed with so much binary laughter that you could hardly hear yourself think. We were either leaving the madness of the Dervish behind once and for all, or we had simply reached the metaphorical eye of the storm. The hall turned East up ahead.

@Rad: Please stop exposing holes in my evil plans like Risp always does.
We traveled West, into much binary cacklage. We came to a turn leading North. The laughter fell silent as we approached, as if whatever it had been was now simply biding its time... waiting... ![]() |

![]() I say we continue N, given that we're the hero with a thousand extra lives... wait, that's Pratchett. Ah well, head N anyway. Last edited by Torkell; Dec 28, 2005 at 09:42 AM. Reason: /me loads page into cannon |

Pageclaim for Pandora, may she rest in peace.
We traveled North into another hallway. Everything remained perfectly quiet. EDIT: Your party consists of... UBERBOB! Master of physics, failure, and Fysics Phailure. ARACHES! Mistress of the elements and the only looker in the bunch! FAWRIEL! Healer without a clue extrodinair! L33TZ4N! A hacker/summoner/hypnotist who is completely and utterly doomed to love Uberbob. SHURIKEN! An almost-ninja with speed and poor dancing skills! FOORUMAN! An elderly wizard guy that sits in a magic healing canoe. ![]() |

Right...
Is that such a good idea? What if Leetsan, Uberbob and Fooruman die? ![]() |
Dec 28, 2005, 01:00 PM | |
"I have an idea!" I suddenly declared. "Araches, Shuri and I will go West, and the rest of you can go East!"
"What if we die?" asked L33tz4n. "Then I'll Raise you," I answered. "But what if whatever kills us kills you, too?" "Well that would be bad," I replied, "but I'm sure it won't happen. Just be positive." L33tz4n stared at me for a moment or two, then disdainfully followed Uberbob and Fooruman East. Araches, Shuriken and I ventured West. "I'm not sure if this is really a good idea," Shuriken said as we walked through the maze. "If we run into trouble, it's cool, we've got the rocket launcher, but what about-?" Her thoughtful ramblings were cut short by a rabid hyena robot leaping out at us. I took aim with the RPG and blasted the attacked into rabid hyena robot dust. "I guess it's true what they say," I said with a grin, "laughter... kills. Or something." Immediately after saying that I internally vowed never to speak again. We stood at a dead end. As we surved the deadness of the end, we heard a loud scream from the East, followed by a strangely evil-sounding patern of 1's and 0's. The very next thing we heard was the unmistakable clicking sound of megawarp coordinates being entered, which was cut short by more binary laughter and the growls of mechanical monsters rending a canoe into splinters. ![]() |

Normally I'll never let you commit suicide in this game, but you have no choice right now
"We have to go back for them!" I declared. "We'll be killed," Araches pointed out. "It's a noble death! Let's go!" The three of us rushed East. Everything seemed normal, until I tripped over a lone, mechanical rabbit leg, then landed in the snow on top of a blood-stained whip and a purple hat. I reached for a nearby canoe fragment to help me regain my footing, only to discover that my feet were gone. This was also around the point when I noticed a very sharp, excruciating pain running through my legs, likely caused by my recent lack of feet. The pain in my legs subsided when my legs were no longer a part of my body, but unfortunately feeling my entrails drag in the snow was also fairly unpleasant in its own right. I then felt very sleepy, so I snuggled up to the cold, metal limb and let myself drift off to dreamland... _____________________________ "I wonder what a Noberry pie would taste like," said Uberbob after I poked the snow. "It would probably taste like mutating into some unnatural, satanic monster," I proposed. "That sounds about right," he replied with a nod. ![]() |
