Okay..
Me and SJ did our first 2 rounds for the cup now. (Yes, a tiebreaker is needed. In BBswing even! :P) First round, I choose Semi. DS hosted. 2-3 to SJ. Heh. That was kinda annoying. It was so even that this duel could hardly be more even. Anyways, he was a little more lucky at times we both were at 1h. So he won. Not much lag or anything.. Second round, SJ choose BBlair. DS hosted. 5-2 to me. This was more a round for me. I hoped I'd do better than last time already, which I did. I am not sure if he really lagged a lot, I didn't at least. I guess I took control of the pu's too when I killed him. That was in my advantage too. Alright. We'll play the tiebreaker tomorrow 19:00 CET. (or 18:00 GMT).. Any host availible? ![]() |

Our duel is postponed till Saturday, because of problems finding a suitable host, and Veg being busy. It's just strange how difficult it is nowadays to find a good host for a single game. Approx. each fourth jj2-player is able to host in public. And when even these are mostly gone/busy, chances for finding even an average host are low.
But hope there's some better luck on Saturday. P.S. All "medallist"-spots are to be taken by 8'D-members, I'm glad.

I *could* host and I would love to, now with even LESS lag (yeh, Quicknet came with ANOTHER speed update), but it's not sure if I can, since it will depend on how this computer works with hosting JJ2 (it's an old one) cuz my primary computer doesn't boot up in 90% of my tries since last sunday...
Anyway, if this PC proves to be okay for hosting (which I guess it will) I'd surely like to host your game. Just need a time.

C'est la vie!
I could host anytime I'm online (since it's such a fabulous thriller we're talking about...) but I think Vegito'd disagree ;[ |
Feb 2, 2007, 03:33 AM | |
I'd disagree on a laggy host like that.
Anyways, we actually got a good host today. The only round left was BBswing... And.. we'll meet again! Yasco was the host in this round and he was a good host for me. I dont think either of us actually had lag. Unlike last time I dueled SJ in this level I did dominate the game more. I just kept scoring from time to time and I slowly started to get a real big lead. He ran a score when I scored the 4-0 I think. After 5-1 his resistance kinda broke and I could just end the duel. Heh. I don't really know why, but everything went well kinda. I just seemed to play well.. Oh well, we'll play the next round tomorrow probably. GG anyways. Last edited by Vegito; Feb 2, 2007 at 04:08 AM. |

Sorry for late post. Anyway, congrats for Veg about the half-pie by now, the rematch will be played on Saturday...hopefully.
And if you are interested, the final score was 6-2 for the third round.

The match might be delayed with one more day, because of Veg not able to play for personal reasons.

For very complicated, and also personal reasons of both sides, I and Veg have agreed to share the title of this season. Considering we both won each other once, it should be fair. Now that we're both 8'D-members, fits also.
I don't know what do people, and r3p think about this compromise, but it's just that we cannot really play this match for some longer time even perhaps. It's yet postponed by just few days, but though we'd consider playing it in the next week, it could be just delayed from time to time. So at least unofficially, I claim half-pie for myself, and congrats to Veg too.

I dont really mind what others think of it. It is just the best this way imo. =P
Anyways, thanks for the understanding some of you. I am not going into details really either. I'll claim half pie for myself too then :[ .. and gg. A draw. ;p |

At times like these, the winner should be either the player who won his games with the greater score difference in total or then chosen by random.
As in the sense of there never being two champions in a league of individuals. Of course, if you two (who are among the obvious top 5 players of this game) think otherwise, then I'll just go along your way of thinking. Just so you know, doing what you're doing now completely sucks... Don't let down those who are interested to see who'll prevail. :[ GG one way or the other, and congratulations to both of you. |

As I said, there shouldn't (as in can't) be multiple champions in a league for individuals. Even choosing the winner by random if neither of the finalists wants to play is, no doubt, a better course of action.
Of course, this stands only if someone'd be going to give both finalists an equal title. You can make the other one the champion and give the other one a title of lesser value. The point is that it's just plain stupid even thinking about sharíng one single thing, such as a title. We badly need a final. Play whenever u can, since two equal champions is but crap. |
Feb 6, 2007, 03:26 AM | |
well i honestly get nothing from your post, but there IS a final, between FS and me
![]() SJ and Veg get to share the 1st\2nd places however don't worry because we will(!) finally get a dueling champion after like one year and a half once Qz' tourney comes to an end! |

This tourney should have one winner too. >[

I just dueled R3p
First round was in bblair. I could've won 3-2 if mcaffee didn't interrupt at the last second. it went overtime at 2-2 and he got the last kill. I think JJ2 hates me. Second round was a bit less fun and we both did knuckleheaded things but I managed to win 4-3 on red against r3p. Third round was a disaster. the level made it hard for me to tell what hearts he was at, what he was going to do, and he basically got the advantage from the start which made it extremely difficult for me to gain control of the map. This level is not good for dueling. |
