After some consideration, I am forfieting this tournament. Congrats to val. Hope he does well against veg. Cya!
In case some of you are wondering, I am fed up with playing on servers across the ocean, and losing matches because of that. I can't evade well with that kind of lag. Arrows aren't reliable in ctf duels and it's just annoying. |

So far for the Who says 'A' must say 'B'-thingy. Disappointing, to say the least.

This is not the "Talk in deleted messages" thread. Putting your message in the reason for deletion is not some magic mod-avoiding trick either.

PurpleJazz vs Anubis
1-5 Superconductor 0-5 BBSwing Meh, messed up horribly. Just beating MS made me think this would be a piece of cake, so I didn't really try, but I ended up getting a nasty suprise. Oh well, that's life I guess. Good job Anubis. =) |

Since I have had hardly any time to get on the computer, yet even play jj2, means I have no time at all. I could play this Sunday, but once again I can't guarantee it. I hate holding people back just b/c of me, and I'm sorry for that, therefore I'm being asked to be let out of the tournament.
I wish I didn't have to do this, since I really do enjoy playing jj2, but my time is just so sparing. Good luck Robee in the tournament, and everyone else out there. See you all soon! And the fact of finding an american host... = impossible

Okay, so I beat Val.
5-2 (Jungle's Edge) 4-5 (Medieval Skyscrapers) 5-0 (BBlair) .. Well, at JE I had a lot of luck. I played well with the carrot and so Val never got to know where it was or even see it. At some point he asked where it was even. Anyway, I by accident stopped at 4-1 already giving him a chance to gather ammo and push me into a corner after I recaptured. At MS I was leading 4-2, even though I got pretty frustrated at the start as he played well. I thought I had this match, and so I guess I started to play unconcentrated or whatever o.O I experienced a few airhits in a row too, giving him a chance to run over me and making it 4-5 in no time. I think he scored 3 points in a row within 5 minutes. Good job there, I'm not easy to beat at MS ;p. Anyway, he would have wanted Semi as the last level, but I preferred BBlair as I had experienced a bit of lag during both matches and didn't want to lose the match cause of it. Semi got 1 carrot and obviously is a lot more lag based. He didn't expect BBlair it seemed, and by pushing him all the time and playing very offensive he never quite stood much of a chance. I do believe he could have played better, he had some good tricks here. I got him quite a few times by playing with the carrots again. |

I am now able to play against Warrior until tomorrow Evening, but we could as well duel on the next weekend if this one for some reason didn't fit him.

Playing this weekend is better though, especially since the LB is quite close to the stage where the loser of your match will enter it.

Rag is now 100% responsible for the part of Loser duel #5 (Lejdi) till Loser duel #8 (Ana). Which kinda means he makes all decisions there, from neutral 3rd levels till forfeit wins etc. I will still take care of the rest of the tourney, but well, I kinda lost the motivation to take care of this particular part of the schedule.
Also, SJ vs. Warrior wasn't played this weekend, which kinda means that it should be played next Saturday when possible, since both the winner and loser of that duel should play their next duel also that weekend (otherwise they'll get behind). Anyway, thanks to you all, since I'm quite pleased with how the tourney's progressing till now. Good job ![]()

I think 43 match-ups and 107 seperate rounds in 39 days is quite fast..

Nobody chekcs their email often. I think PM's and posting here might be a better solution if the player is not around msn.

Most of the players in the tournament don't check this often x).
Like Val, Warrior, Ric, Anubis, Czech, Robee, Lejdi, Mati, Yasco. They barely ever check this if at all. E-mailing works well if you're using MSN, as when you log in it tells you you got 1 new email. (And everyone uses MSN basically.) |

I and Warrior are now finished. Ktos hosted rounds 1 & 2, but since he started lagging during the 2nd round, we switched to Robee for the tiebreaker.
We began with BloodBunny's Lair. I was gonna play as defensive as possible at first, but soon realized I had to really move through the level a lot and abuse warps as much as possible. Often I jailed him to the left side of the level, and that way I made some of my scores. He had good opportunities also though. Final score was 5-1 to me. In Jungle's Edge I kinda stupidly ran into his traps at the bottom, and he took a 3-0 lead. I then began to play more defensively and as well, tried to attack him behind more. We both had mega lags here though, and especially I couldn't really evade his shots at all because of that. It kinda ruined the round, which he still controlled. 5-1 to him. We had a tiebreaker in Happy Semiconductor CTF, that was a real thriller. Fortune was mostly by my side, I stole the carrot often right in front of him, but still I couldn't use my opportunities to roast him. I took it into 4-1, and thought I could already relax, but no. He really took me out as I got hit by him continously although I healed myself. He took 2 scores in a streak and I was afraid that I would collapse. Right after his 3rd score I did the most desperate rush attempt, and by some miracle it succeeded(I rf'ed him while he was in the air, and bypassed him to my base. ;d) 5-3 to me here. A good game overall. Good luck to Lower Bracket Warrior, and hello to Riccardo.

Alright, I just duelled SJ.
1st Round: BBswing 5-3 to SJ We started playing in Lejdi's server where I won 5-3, but I decided to re-play it since kills were just random and no fun at all. Then cryomancer hosted. At 3-3 I had to go...whatever, I came back with no concentration and he won 5-3 in no time. 2nd Round: BBlair 5-2 to SJ I found this round fun, SJ was very unpredictable both when he had to hide if he had 1 and when I had 3 and catching me, so it was something like a challenge for me. We should play more often here^^ very gg, and good luck SJ through the finals ![]() Sidenote: I was listening to Iron Maiden while playing this, while I listened to Metallica in all the others. That's a reason!

I and Ric dueled a moment ago as well. Thanks to Cryomancer for hosting.
Ric chose Swingin' Jazz as his level that we started with. Lejdi was hosting first, but we soon noticed it lagged hard, yet our pings were reasonably low. He won that round 5-3, but since it didn't really make sense, we then switched to Cryo and restarted the round. It was quite fast-paced, and we kept scoring in turns. No matter how weird it might sound, but at 3-3 we both had a LUNCH BREAK. Meanwhile it apparently made Ric lose his concentration a bit, I felt now more fresh after eating. In the end he was quite close to make it a win for himself, but it still became 5-3 to me. Second round was also a BloodBunny's level, the warm and familiar Lair, that I picked. This round was really exciting, and unordinary one. I kinda underestimated him here, and thus was often in trouble with 1 heart, but I could avoid him enough right when needed to heal myself. It was also hard to catch him, since he often only barely saved himself by warping a second before my weapons would hit him. I got really frustrated how he once made me bypass the right carrot just when I was about to grab it. Apparently he was shooting RF from the left that missed me, but instead made the carrot "jump" so that I ran below it and died because of that. After the game he told, that it was hard to know my position. Well, I admit that he was just as unpredictable as well, I sometimes just luckily guessed where he was and roasted him. Score: 5-2 to me. A great, enjoyable game. I hope the WB Final will be a neat event too. Good luck on your journey Ric. We meat again VeG. ![]()
