Spontaneously also I and Veg just played the WB Finals. Thanks to Snooze for hosting.
I somewhat expected Veg's choice, that was Jungle's Edge. There we began our fight. Quite soon he took a strong lead, and I could counter against him really a lot. He always got to hold the top of the level and somehow hit me at positions that didn't benefit me. Although I few times controlled, then he somehow sneaked me and I got engaged. I then was pretty much relying for round 2. I pretty much stood no chance here. 5-1 to him. In BloodBunny's Lair, that I chose once again the game was way more closer. My estimating skills sucked here for some reason. It was 0-0 for a while, until he did the opening score. I tried to rush right after it, but he then spawned right next to me and prevented it. He was going to hog PowerUps as much as possible, and so I had to often sneak them for myself. He often hided to the top-left of the level when having low health, but mostly I got hit also, so that it was too dangerous to charge into him. At 3-1 to him the game pretty much got clear already when I waited for PowerUps at my base and failed to capture. It sometimes felt like the carrots would take ages to respawn, because he kept taking them all the time, although I couldn't always notice it. That was his 'tactic' he had planned against me, so I would have as least knowledge about things as possible. Yet I sometimes arrived to carrots only a second late or so. He took them right when my bullets were about to roast him. Don't know is that luck or what. 5-2 to him here. An intense Grand Final. I feel I could have done much better if I had prepared more carefully, or if we played next weekend instead. It felt a bit rushed, like my duel against Ric too. Well, I guess he was just better this time and I still learned something from this match. Now the Lower Bracket should speed up some. ![]()

Hm, so as SJ said already I won.
There wasn't much to say about JE as I sort of knew I would stand a really high chance there against him. Heh. At bblair I wanted to use the same tactic as against Val. I would try to get hit so much that I would always be taking carrots. At one point Val asked if C's respawned (which they did.) SJ seemed to never see them either because of me. This obviously resulted in some dangerous situations for me too cause there barely ever was a carrot and I would at times be low on health too xD. I generally felt like I controlled the match the entire game which he didn't appear to be expecting o.O. Neither I expected this to happen at BBlair though. |

I just finished my duel with Mati. It turned out to be a three rounded match. All of the rounds were played in Semi. I won the first (exciting) game with a 5-3 score. Then we played another and this time Mati won 5-4, quite surprising. First two rounds were played on Veg's server(thx <3).
Today we played the tiebreaker. It seemed like I had a bad day. I was unlucky and I made stupid mistakes which gave Mati a quick 4-0 lead. Then I realised I had to play different and I came back to 4-3, but I couldn't beat him as he played really really really defensive(no offense). Anyways, good luck against Warrior! (Thx to Ric for hosting, btw)

What do you do when you have to wait for someone and you're bored? Yes, right! You fix something that annoys you. Well, I did that with the previous DIT-schedule, and it's maybe a bit off-topic, but you guys might want to check it out: DITv1.
Also, on-topic now, deadline for Robee and CzEcH to play their duel: Sunday, October 26th (which kinda means: finish it this weekend!!).

Robee vs. CzEcH
Round 1: Atom Heart 243.5 (CzEcH's lvl, host: Veg) 5-2 CzEcH. Really long and boring game, were they both couldn't control the carrots and both camped a lot. Round 2: Superconductor CTF (Robee's lvl, host: Veg) 5-2 Robee. Surprisingly enough Robee played as Jazz. Everytime CzEcH took the carrot Robee was there to toast him and put him at 1h again. Also, Robee recaptured twice! Round 3: Happy Semiconductor CTF (neutral, host: Veg) 5-2 CzEcH. Eh, yes. Quite even, but sometimes Robee didn't knew when CzEcH was 1h. They both controlled the car well anyway.

Taking a break from JJ2.
Edit: Fine. I'll supervise this tourney, then. Only 5 or 6 duels to go, anyway. The other stuff still stands, though.

I finished my duel against Czech.
1st Round: BBswing, my choice (Napoleon hosted) I easily scored the first point so I thought it would be very easy to finish him off but then he took a quick 3-1 lead. I was kinda pissed off, though I pulled a comeback and won 5-3. There were players joining/leaving all the time and it was annoying, sorry for banning. 2nd Round : Knightmare Castle, Czech's choice (Napoleon/Sweet hosted) I've never liked this level, it's too much "random". Anyway, spamming seekers all the time worked well. 5-2 to me gg czech ;p and thanks to the hosters

Just duelled Val
1st Round: Medieval skyscrapers, val's choice I let him pick ms because I was curious to try a new tactic. And well, it kinda worked in the beginning, I took a 2-0 lead. Though he managed to win 5-2 2nd Round: Bbswing, my choice Alright, it was easy till 4-0. Then he came back to 4-3 and I was like o_o. I scored the last point by killing him right before he could get carrot. 5-3 to me 3rd Round: BBlair, tiebreaker Long game as expected. I managed to stay away from him when I had low healt and attacked him with 3. 5-1 to me gg val (though you forgot to say gg ;I) hello again SJ ![]()

Me vs Ric vol. 2 (Robee hosted)
5-4 to me in Semiconductor (my choice) 5-1 to me in Superconductor (Ric's choice) What to say, I probably had the right mood to play this time. I might have surprised him a bit in semi, when I often caught him from the 'tunnel' below the carrot. I had a lead of 3-1 and thought I had the game in control already, but no. I somehow slipped up my moves and suddenly it became 3-4. I was a bit frustrated by then, but managed to stay cool and engaged him to the Bouncer-PU. Also, if I had always lacked electroblasters he would have won. I'm sure about that. ![]() In Superconductor I felt more confident, and actually it felt a bit like he didn't often know what he was doing, when he would charge into me here. Or then he just didn't expect facing me at the end of tubes rather. It was a fun game anyway, thanks for playing Ric...as well thanks to Robee for hosting. P.S. I'm sorry about ruining your wish Gry ;(
