See? What did I tell you? >|
Though I don't have any ideas as to what we should do now. I guess I'd go with Cooba's commands at this point.

Cooba's it is, I guess.
I wasn't about to be beaten by pointy sticks from the ceiling. "We should check the other way," I said, letting go of Faw and staggering across the cold, icy floor and towards the door. Moving hurt a lot. Fawriel chased after me. "Shuri, you're drizzling blood all over. You probably shouldn-" he was cut off by Uberbob as we reached the rest of the party. "Shuriken!" the rabbit exclaimed, "you look like crap!" Leetzan watched, looking somewhat terrified. "What h4ppen3d?" "Th' usual," I grumbled, almost slipping in a puddle of my own blood but catching myself, "I picked up big, important looking crystals and it hurt." "Think you'd learn," Araches commented snidey. I scowled at the sorceress. "I didn't see YOU trying to figure this puzzle out." "Hon, there's a diffrence between puzzle and deathtrap." Not wanting to hear the sorceress's banter, I displayed a nonverbal response with my uninjured hand and continued walking. The party hesitantly followed me back through the hallway to the campsite, west to the large fountain, and finally west again into another connecting room. This room was dome shaped with three exits (two of which emitted an ominous light), much like the campsite room, only minus the campsite. It also felt like it was moving. "Hey, anyone else feel that?" Everyone looked around cluelessly. "That could could be from blood loss, actually," Faw commented. I looked down and noticed a long, splattered red trail going all the way back to the room with the crystal pyramid. That probably wasn't good. ![]() Last edited by Radium; Jan 16, 2006 at 01:11 PM. |

But this doesn't make sense...we did the spikes come down when we picked up the crystal fragment if it is the pyramid that trigger them?

Get L33tz4n to summon the Arabian War Accupuncturist, and have that heal Shuriken. Make sure the accupuncturist hangs around, in case anyone else needs healing.

Yeah, and we should get the Mythslayer to pick up future gems. ;p

Good idea. Come to think of it, also ask L33tz4n if the Enchantresphere can power the PDA *without* frying it in the process?

But they'll come back should we have a battle, right?

@Boggy: If it fried a regular computer it would probably explode a PDA.
"Er.. yeah. Let's rest a minute," I proposed, leaning against the wall and sliding down into a sitting position. It suddenly occured to me that saying "let's rest here" and falling down in the middle of a room was a very, very Uberbob-esque thing to do. I quickly got another idea. "Also, Leetzan, we need healing. Summon the Acupuncturist." Leetzan held out out her hand and a bundle of needles appeared in it. A strange, sourceless wind filled the room as a thin, old man in an ornate turban and cape materialized. He accepted the needles from Leetzan's hand and expertly twirled them around his fingers. "Whehr ehm I neeted, summonehr?" he asked, dramatically bowing and tossing his cape over one shoulder. Leetzan pointed at me. The acupuncturist stared for a minute, then let out a battlecry and pinned me against the wall. It was an extremely unpleasant experience. Naturally, he pulled the needles out and did it again, too. Eventually, though, he must have managed to pin me back together in some way because the bleeding ceased and pain lessened. "Right.. thanks," I coughed, trying to get up while still leaning against the wall. My ankle still hurt a lot; the bone was probaby broken. I directed my attention to Fawriel. "When will you be able to heal again?" "It usually takes 'tween six and eight hours. Overnight, in most cases. Why do you need it? We have an acupuncturist now." I considered performing the Foshizzle dance Fooruman taught me to demonstrate just why I wanted to be healed, but it probably would have hurt a lot to do with an injured ankle and arm. |

There's no even a pyramid in this room, guys. I'm going with Emp and Coob.
Also, I got the exits wrong on that post up there. Fixing. "So, why don't you have any useful magic powers?" I asked Fawriel, "like that super regenerating thing Unfooruman could do." "I.. wasn't there when you were fighting." "Oh, right," I said. "Well, looked really useful. Who taught you magic, anyway?" Fawriel shrugged. "Some friends. A little bit from travelling magicians. But mostly the back of cereal boxes." Of course, I had better things to do than rag on the healers. I limped over to the northern doorway. It was made of ice, possibly magical as it seemed very strong. The door was rounded at the top, about seven feet tall, and lead into a small hallway. At the end of the hallway I could see another circular room with a glowing floor, and the glimmer of more crystals. I was hurting pretty bad and really in the mood to pick up more trapped crystals right now. I looked down through the doorway on the south wall. It was the same; circular room, glowing floor, some crystals. "What's our plan now?" Araches asked, only somehow in an insulting tone. "I presume she's going to pick things up, because that's really all life's about," Uberbob speculated as though I wasn't there. ![]() |

...some crystals as in a pyramid and a shard, right?

Assuming the sleeping bag isn't made of some mystical unbreakable cloth, let's not try that. I'd have to go with Elf, since watching Bob suffer is much more fun than Shuri.

By the way, it could be another day or three before I can reply. Crazy busy week, nearing finals and all.

Or have Shuri use Feat's teleport to warp out the room before the spikes descend.
