I do not like flash website, cuz the do load too much time, but then they freeze up n I never return to that kind of websites. Except if they are made in flash v.6 or less.

Site music, although it sounds 'cool', is dumb. There is no reason for it, for one, and I don't really like MIDIs, since everyone is screwing them up now.

Site music is annoying, neophyte-ish, bandwidth-stealing, and just not a good idea in any imaginable way. The same goes with site counters, although those are a good deal less annoying and a good deal more reminiscent of 1999 (which is a bad thing.)

Why, site music could be a great idea, but while these two conditions are true:
1) There is a few different midi files, which are randomly picked.
2) These midi files are a good "ear candy". (ye, I just invented this term)

3) There is an option to turn it off so it doesn't automatically load and play

Yeah, you are right. Me, personally, would disable the music immediately.

I don't really understand what you mean, except that you don't need help with j2ov2.
I didn't say I make the option in a short time, but I am also not working on it, because you didn't reply in that topic, about where exactly do you need that option.
Still, it is easy for me to do, but you have to add a new field in the user's options table (I think, that table is called USER) called something like smiliedef, which can carry value 1 or 0, zero by default, not null (that's the field's settings)
Then, I believe, I will have to do the following:


1. register.php:
- edit INSERT INTO user query)
2. register template:
- add radio box
3. profile.php?do=editoptions
- edit UPDATE user query
4. editoptions template:
- add radio box
5. showthread.php
- set the variable value
6. quickreply template
- insert the hidden field with value from 5
7. newreply.php?do=newreply
- get the user option
8. newreply template
- replace the static field value with the value from the variable


This hack will need no additional queries.

Lol, I'm just saying that Nebula is strictly programming. He probably doesn't care what goes on with the site, like the downloads and stuff.

If this wasnt mentioned before, I suggest there being a way to sort the reviews you wrote in various ways (ex. by lenght or by date posted) so you can see which are your oldest/shortest reviews and which are your newest/longest etc.

This is for J2Ov2, not the JCF. J2Ov2 is the new version of J2O and will NOT include the JCF.
