The party doesn't really feel up to another people stack, so you jump up and down like an idiot until you manage to get some of the berry-like fruits.

You walk west. The forest ends, and there's another beach here. The sandy shore has the usual skeletal remains scattered across it. You can make out something floating dangerously far out in the water.

Examen: dangerous floating thing

It is difficult to make out the object from the shore. It has no real defineable color and is partially submerged in the water.

Look for exits

Save, swim out and get it.

Only exit is east.

You save and begin to wade out into the water to get the object. Just as you are able to put your hand around it, the current sweeps you out.

You are too busy trying not to drown to have a snack.

Put spring in water.

You drown and die. Game loaded from before you jumped in the water.

Shuri: Swim out and get it.

Swimming out to get the object, Shuriten returns staring at it, confused. The object is mighty perplexing, perhaps undescribable. She hands it over to Ubertob who places it in his inventory, then Shuriken returns to the rest of the party to be confused as a group.

East, north.

You walk back east to the fruit trees and go north from there. The forest ends, turning into a short stretch of plains ending with another shore. It's rather windy and cold here without the trees. Most of the leaves have been blown off of the trees near the edge of the forest. Only exit is south.

South, south, west.

You take two souths and a west. The forest leads south and turns dark. An eerie fog surrounds it. A path also leads west, where you see a beach in the distance. An old merchant's wagon sits decaying by the road, though no skeletons are visible.

Exits are south, east, and west.

Search cart.

You climb into the cart's door. Inside is a small wooden room containing empty bottles and the like. A large book is sitting on a table.

Open book with Leprechaun Foot.

You use the severed limb from the innocent mythical creature to open the dusty book. You've opened to the title page, which reads "Alchemy and Potion Mixing - AP Class Edition, 1604".

Curl up inside the cart and begin reading.

The book has about four thousand pages. Your party would probably get bored standing outside if you read the whole thing.

Read the preface out loud.

You read the preface aloud so your party can sing along hear.
