I'll probably upload it once I change some of the descriptions so they make sense to people other than me. "COOL PLACE" is somewhat useless, for example.

Ask: Fooruman: If he is ready to rejoin our party.

You walk south twice into the ghost town. When you get there, you notice that the novelty item store is gone. A giant stone monolith stands in its place, and pieces of the foundation are still visible, as if the monolith simply came out of the ground and destroyed the structure.

analyze: monolith

Search for survivors.

Nobody in the store was alive to begin with.

The monolith is made from only the finest pantsstone and is perfectly smooth. it hs no markings or symbols on it, and goes straight up about sixty feet to a pyramid-like top.

Grab: Random rock
Throw: Random Rock: monolith

It's too monolithic to be an obelisk. But in theory, yes.

You pick up a rock and throw it at the monolith. It bounces off with a "krpik".

Look for an entrance.

Action: Knock against all sides of the ObeliskMonolith and see which side sounds hollow.
Action: Attempt to open/break through that side.

No sides sound hollow. No enterance is visible.

Follow Unknown's directions.

He most certainly did not.

You run north, north, east, east, north, east, east, east, east, north, north, and north (whew). You have once again reached the monolithic spire with the four small pillars surrounding it. At the top of the structure is a sphere with a stone ring around it - slightly offset to the side. Nohting appears different or out of place.
