You go north (twice) and return to the library. "What did you find inside that trapdoor?" you ask Faw.
"The exit," he replies, "it leads directly outside the library."

But Faw should take the threat more to heart, then!

Ask: "Did you see anthing else inside the passage? Any puzzle-like contraptions or useful items?"

If Faw's not sure, go investigate yourself.

"There was nothing else in there," Faw says.

Say: "Okay, then."
Go: Inside library.
Say: Fooruman: "How goes the magic?"

"How goes the magic?" you ask Fooruman.
"Excellent!" he replies, "I've had enough time that I was able to relearn everything I already know! It was quite refreshing."

Say: "Are you planning on learning any new spells anytime soon?"

"Oh, yeah, I'll do that in a bit," he says.

Ask:Faw: Can you show us where the Trap Door is?

Ask: "Are there any spells you're particularly interested in?"

Fawriel shows you the trap door. It's next to a bookshelf, blending with the ground. It leads to a short tunnel to the outside.
"Are there any spells you're particularly interested in?" you ask Fooruman.
"I saw one interesting spell called 'overexaggerate combat sound effects'." he replies.

Search for anyhing useful that Faw missed.

You crawl through the trapdoor. There seems to be nothing of interest, and you come out behind a tree just outside the library.

get trapdoor.

Go: South twice.
List all buildings in town.

The trapdoor is bolted down.

You go south into town. Buildings are inn, general store, and blacksmith's shop.

Go: Blacksmith's shop

Ask: Blacksmith: "Hi! Can you forge legendaray weapons out of common metals?"

You enter the blacksmith shop. From the looks of the inside, it's clearly been turned into a gift shop. Little trinkets like plastic unfooruman castles and "I went to Antifoo Isle and might have survived!" T-shirts, available in both white and ghostly-semitransparent, are being sold.

Ask: If they're giving away free souveneirs(Sp?)

Ask how much the T-Shirts cost.

Nothing is free. T-Shirts are $20.

Ask: Party: If they have any money on them.

Action: Steal a couple of t-shirts and random items when nobody is looking.

You look around suspiciously and send Zodiac to steal items. Unfortunately, the security guards hidden in the roof impale him on a flying ice pick.

Take Zodiac.
Ask: "Has anyone tried to stand up to him?"

"Yea," the man replies, "a group of six people. But in the end, one died, one hid, and the other four fled."

Examine Fooruman.

Ask: "Who were these people? I'm guessing one of them is Fooruman."

"Yeah," he replies, "Fooruman, Trafton, Conquista, Pandora, Sam, and Sear. I have a pic of the old gang around here somewhere..." he digs under the table and takes out an old photograph. Scholar Sam looks about twenty and is holding an electric guitar. Sear the Seer and the Ultimate Evil, Grandma Conquista, both look about 40, and Pandora looks a little bit younger than when you just saw her earlier. Trafton is still thirteen, and Fooruman still looks as old as dirt. You estimate the picture is about twenty years old.
"Something you should know," the man continues, "Unfooruman never directly kills his enemies. Take Pandora for example, she was cursed."

"Is that a good thing?"

"No, not really," he replies.

"If there was another attack, do you think any of them would join in?" Refuse to make more sense if requested.
