Scatman gets a cookie for thinking.

The wafflepieces are only enough for one character to learn one skill. And SuxMagic... well... sucks. Really.

The Druid robe does not have enough value. And Sam teaches skills, not spells. He just has a few spells.

Inventory:
-Thirdeighteennoteevenbettercitrusfruityflyingfully clotheductscraptlegalfourseatsestrudelire
-Snufuss Cloak (big hole in it)
-Druid Robe
-Pearldiver's Knife
-Magic Map
-Bookmark of Eternity
-Book of Gerbil
-Magic Mirror

Have L33tz4n learn mindmagic (so we can summon Albert Einstin and ask him what to do.)

EDIT- oh, and how do those glitching- something else special spells work in combination with other special spells? I mean, to counter summon anvil, would you need to cast both the anti- non-elemental spell and the dimensional divider spell, or just one of those spells?

'Risp gets all Xion's cookies for making an intelligent statement and asking an intelligent question. To answer that, it depends on the type of spell. Dimention Divider would stop Summon Anvil, Summon Archmage, ect, but not Dimention Divider, Mass Plastic Ward, or other Summoning combo spells.

You decide you want L33tz4n to learn Mindmagic. Using his l33t sing-along skills, Scholar Sam teaches L33tz4n Mindmagic in ten minutes flat. L33tz4n has learned Summon Einstein, Hypnotism Ward, and Hypnotize. Afterwards, Scholar Sam asks if there is any other skills you wish to learn, and if you have anything else to pay for them.

L33tz4n's Spells:
- Summon Rusty Iron Bat: Summons rusty iron bat. Dispelled after a while.
-Summon Butterfly: Summons butterfly. Dispelled after a while.
-Summon Battlebutterfly: Summons butterfly with niftular battle attachments
-Summon MSN guy: A little more pathetic than Summon Butterfly. Gets fired after a while and commits suicide when MSN stock drops.
-Summon Einstein: Summons Einstein. Dispelled after a while, takes a lot of MP.
-Summon Water Elemental: Summons water elemental. Dispelled after a while and takes a lot of MP.
-Glitch: Causes impossible events to stop happening, takes 2 people.
-Hypnotize: Only Mindmagic spell, puts enemy under your control. What enemy depends on MP used in spell and enemy's intelligence.
-Hypnotism Ward: Prevents Mindmagic spells. Takes a lot of MP to cast.

Afterwards, you look at Jay. something seems different about him. You think he may have grown more hair on his arms.

Jay's status:
-Species: Human
-Intelligence: 90
-Strength: 30
-Defense: 30
-Magic: 0

Does mass stupidity take a lot of mp? Because, I think a great combo would be mass studipity and hypnotism.

EDIT- oh, and maby we should trade the book of gerbil for something

All Mass Spells take a LOT. And for now I'd avoid Sux Magic. Later in the game you'll be doing a lot with Sux Magic, and by the end of the game you will loathe the very day it was created. And one character with all the power can be a bit unwise at times (like an enemy hypnotist >D).

Scholar Sam will gladly give a skill for the Book of Gerbil.

Using his mad sing-along skills, Scholar Sam teaches Fawriel Seer Magic.

Fawriel's Spells:
-Heal: Restores oen ally's HP
-Raise: Revives a dead ally (takes a lot of MP)
-Mass Power Restore: Restores all allies' MP. Takes effort to cast; caster becomes tired and weaker for a while.
-Visions: View an enemy's full status, except for hidden spell effects.

ATM I am the only one...it seems.

And you can answer that question with me taking no part in the game. ^_^

Anyways, I still think this game should be moved to the "community game development" forum. This is a game, right?

But if this is a game, shouldn't Word Association and the like be moved there too? They are games also.

Er... it went away. Maybe it'll be back someday. If it does come back, it will be a multi-million dollar feature-length movie.

Scholar Sam doesn't want your Knife because he's afraid of sharp objects. And Araches doesn't want to learn your cruddy doll magic.

What about Uberbob? He's quite magically impared.

You don't want Araches to learn Doll magic, or something? But anyway, I can't think of any skill to give to Uberbob which gives him a really useful combo, without giving him a skill others already have. I mean, those anti-spell combos don't really sound useful.

I'd just ruin Araches' pessimistic, annoyed personality if she carried around a doll all the time.

What about learning the spell "Doll Ward"? =P

"I not a werewolf," Jay says. You find it quite surprising someone with his intelligence forgot the word "am". His tail didn't seem wolfy either.

For those of you who don't feel like reading, currently Scholar Sam is trading items for magic skills. Bucky was contemplating teaching Uberbob Doll Magic.

(Jay spontaneously grew a tail, remember?)

Jay's tail is long and the same thickness along it's whole length. It has brown hair.

Scholar Sam is still awaiting your purchase. He offers two skills for your valuable Snufuss Cloak.

Use the cloak to teach Araches Non-Elemental magic (we need someone who can use damaging spells) and Uberbob enchantment (I really want that enchant weapon spell, so uberbob needs to become a enchanter to counteract Araches refusal to learn doll magic.)

And ask Scholar Sam: do you have a name for your teaching methoid? Something catchy with a trademark at the end?

Using his l33t sing-along skills, Scholar Sam teaches Uberbob and Araches!

Uberbob's Spells:
-Glitch: Causes impossible events to stop happening, takes 2 people.
-Fysics Phalure: Uberbob is not yet powerful enough to cast this spell.
-Stoneskin: Increases unit's defense.

Araches' Spells:
-Bloodlust: Increases unit's attack.
-Haste: Increases unit's speed.
-Life Drain: Target's health slowly goes down. Takes a lot of MP, can only be cast once every long time.
-Magic Dart: Inflicts a small amount of damage, requires line of sight.

Inventory:
-Thirdeighteennoteevenbettercitrusfruityflyingfully clotheductscraptlegalfourseatsestrudelire
-Druid Robe
-Pearldiver's Knife
-Magic Map
-Bookmark of Eternity
-Magic Mirror

Scholar Sam's teaching method is too cool to need a name.

How long is a very long time? I mean, 30 posts? 2 battles? 5 days?

EDIT- And would Uberbob not be able to use any combo spells at the moment, or only the more complex ones?
