The standard (classic, overplayed or however you want to call it) levels must be played, since everybody knows them.

Once again, you show your inability to ignore the same old (read: overplayed) levels. I am quite disapointed. That they have to be played because people know them is simply a terrible excuse; this anouncement is more then early enough for people to get to know any included levels that they are unfamiliar with.

I'm also very disapointed.Why you didn't put Sbv2 instead of Semi ? Sbv2 is much more neutral.

Including those levels makes people complain. Excluding those levels make people complain. What a dilemma.

Uhm I fully support Cell in this, although some of those 3 levels suit us just fine.
I do believe that Semi and Bblair shouldn't be used though, bblair cuz its too small for 3v3's to be fun, and semi for being too unbalanced. I wouldnt mind semi being used in seminfinals where u play 2 rounds of 1 level, so it's fair, cuz if the system stays like this, the team that will choose semi, will choose the blue side and pwn. I also dislike sbv2 cuz it's way 2 small for 3v3's. Personally i miss jungles edge or marshland, those are typical 3v3 levels(as is zaitox for example). So the main problem I see here is using inadequate levels for 3v3 matches, and also the fact that semi especially is biased towards the blue team. To support my claim of JE and Marsh furthermore, they are both also played enough, and are in every atribute better for 3v3's as opposed to semi and bblair, who are not just played alot, but overplayed!!!
So not just for the sake of originality, also for the sake of pure good old fun, plz reconsider at least semi...(at least mind!!!)
Ohh and NO I aint just trying to get semi and bblair out(i like bblair for 2v2's and its my fav duel level) and get my fav levels in. The levels I would replace semi and bblair with are just the ones I know are played and big enough, but I'm basicly open to any other. And if you all thing Zaitox is overplayed as well I dont mind it leaving the pool(although zaitox isnt overplayed atm, it was only overplayed during jj2wc)..
Think a bit on the choice of levels,a nd lets discuss this.

EDIT: I would just like to say I personnaly dont dislike any of the map pool levels I'm just saying there are better levels for 3v3's out there(and not so overplayed as well).

* BloodBunny's Lair
- It's great and certainly big enough for 3v3, I guess there must be SOME reason it was played in the finals of jj2wc1... Ohyes, that I am good there does make me say this, atleast to some extent... =P

* Happy Semiconductor CTF
- I dont see what the fuss is about... I am better as red, so are yasco and veg... others are better as blue... I dont really see what ppl have against it. Except that it's popular.

* Medieval Skyscrapers
- A good level, could have been replaced with sbv2 or some other good level. But it is good enough, the less changes the better in this case. It has been played a lot latelym and I like the gameplay.

* Quasar Quandary
- Dunno, noone seems to want to play it with me tonight ;( I hope it's a good level though.

* Sacrifice
- I like the level. Some ppl complain about the choppers... but... I like it:P always heving seekers when I die suits me well

* Zaitox Station 67
- If any level should be replaced it is this one, it isnt all that good, and only one way to base really sucks... I would have wanted to see JE or Sbv2 here instead. But, I guess it is OK... It certainly isnt bad.

Overall I think R3p did a GJ!
I hope this tournament will be even better than jj2wc1

Edit: I just took a look at QQ, and I figured it owns =P

- I suck in it, but its a great level.
good choice. most people like it.

* Happy Semiconductor CTF

I agree with Gry. Semi is a normal level, many people like it.
You should play Semi because so many people play it.
You can complain its overhosted and all, but you do see who are good in it and who arent then. you really get to see who's the best clan there then.
that's the point about this tourney.

* Medieval Skyscrapers
- A good level, could have been replaced with sbv2 or some other good level. But it is good enough, the less changes the better in this case. It has been played a lot latelym and I like the gameplay.

I dont mind playing that level.
Its big enough, good choice 2.

* Quasar Quandary
- Dunno, noone seems to want to play it with me tonight ;( I hope it's a good level though.

Same. if it isnt good I think this could be replaced with SBv2 or so. :P

* Sacrifice
- I like the level. Some ppl complain about the choppers... but... I like it:P always heving seekers when I die suits me well

I also like the level... no comment here :P

* Zaitox Station 67
- If any level should be replaced it is this one, it isnt all that good, and only one way to base really sucks... I would have wanted to see JE or Sbv2 here instead. But, I guess it is OK... It certainly isnt bad.

It isnt that bad to play this.
Same reason as Semi. People play it a lot.
So you gotta play it, cause then you really get to see who's good.

R3p did good by choosing levels which are played very much, and more unknown levels.
I dunno why you shouldnt agree with this mappool :P

About Semi's inbalancement: You play two rounds in each round and switch teams, so it doesn't matter.

Zaitox could be replaced by Nuclear Afterblast, if Blur agrees.

Also, suggest some levels instead of complaining about them. That would be much more helpful.

Just my suggestion: Don't change again everything :/

This mappool is acceptable, but not perfect. In my opinion Zaitox should be replaced by Jungles Edge. I do like Zaitox, but it has one thing which completly ruins whole play - the seeker pu bug, which after 5-6 min respawns only for host.
I saw Nuclear AfterBlast, and it looks OK.
But still JE > NuclearBlast
More ppl know JE, more ppl will accept it without complains. People want it So plz change Zaitox to JE and everyone will be happy

I don't get this...You are so silly people. Why should Reptile change QQ and Sacrifice just after they were voted to be in this tourney. So, if you're now voting both of them out, then the whole jj2wc ctf contest was for nothing. They shouldn't be changed at least.

And Reptile earlier mentioned that non-overhosted and not so popular levels would be played in this tourney, cause all the complaints in the jj2wc 1-levels. But seems that Reptile can't get his mind away from the old levels ever, although he was tightly guarantiing that Zaitox won't be played because there's only one way to the base, and Semi neither cause it's biased.

Nah, whatever..I don't mind that much of the mappool so that I would start yelling: Overhosted!/I don't know that level!, so better to just let it stay like this unless you really want to replace some levels like you earlier mentioned, Nuclear Afterblast to be replaced with Zaitox.

If you really don't want to play Semi and BBLAIR, I'd replace them with Jungle's Edge, Marshland of Evil or Security Breach v2.

You should understand that I do not particularly have anything against levels like Zaitox or Lair; on the contrary, I think they are great levels, some of the best ever made. However, I do not see this as a reason to include them in every tournament mappool each and every time. Doing this doesn't give other levels a chance to be played, and even more, simply gets boring (well, to me it does; I shall refrain from speaking for others on this matter). There are tons and tons of great CTF levels out there; I could easily name 5 or 10 off the top of my head that would be perfect to play in this tournament; so why keep playing the same old levels each and every time?

Dropping Zaitox for Afterblast is already a great step in the right direction, imo. I guess we could keep one of these levels in the mappool; preferably Semi, but that's just my personal preference. I'd vote for replacing either Semi or Lair for Marsh, that'd turn this into a good, generaly exceptable mappool.

Those're my two cents.

You have a point about Zaitox, CelL. It was good that it was replaced...
... Although I'd rather see sbv2 or JE instead of Marsh...=/

As it is now, the mappool is 3 new and 4 old... so... I think that is a good balance.

I have to agree with CelL ; but I still think Zaitox is a bit unfair because of the one way to the base. This can be quite irritating for the attackers, and I know how this feels.
I don't have any problems with Semi, although Semi isn't one of my favourites. About that red is better in Semi... ye, you can camp under the blue base and hit the opponent. Unless he/she takes another way and is fast enough, of course. The Marshland of Evil is a good 3v3 level. Jungle's Edge is a bit overplayed, but not really. Semi is played more times. And about BBLair... well, BBLair is overplayed, and I find the PU placement biased. The RF doesn't respawn all the time there, even when respawn is on.

see where a good conversation can lead too?
We have a totally different and new array of levels, the only 2 left from last year were harldy played or even unplayed so it doesnt matter!
GJ rep, this thing is going in the right direction, and me, being an optimist, hope season 2 will be evn better then season 1, if that's possible.

GG to all for discussing this, without stupid flamming or anything like that even
