I have yet to see Radium deny that you can't see illusions when looking through the orb, so I'm close-mindedly sticking to that theory.

Evil post editor, those commands weren't there ten minutes ago.
Anyway, you wake up L33tz4n (who is oddly seeming to become more of a peer to you than anyone else in your party), Shake Fawriel until he enters a state that is somewhere between wake and sleep, and (kindly as possible) awake Araches, though I totally miss the point in that. When you're all awake and Fawriel catches a runaway trout for breakfast, you go back to the cave and switch the orb and crystal. Looking through the orb only seems to display white outlines of your party and the orb/crystal room, though you think you see a few gremlins scramble away. Your party is currently in the Crystal/Orb room with full HP and MP. Where to now? |

(Interesting... it shows invisible things...)
Take _Orb_, not _Crystal_. _Go to Gate_. _Now_ look through _Orb_. |

Go outside and look inside the donut-isle and through the clouds, still looking for an answer.
The Gremlins believe you're the messia who's looking for the question to 42 and are now at your service. Yay!

You walk up to the gate and look though the orb. Strangely, the gate has no outline. |

Summary: The Trading post is on the south east side of the island. Pandora's pool is near (but not in) the center, east side of the volcano. Fort Strato is on the south coast. Snufuss Lair is on a subisland in the middle. The caves are on the west coast. The caves start out with a 3-way path. Left one leads to the orb room and save point, middle one to the gate, and right on to the CyberCafe. /Summary.
You approach the gate and step through it. Your party sees blood running down the gate's spines as it mauls your body. L33tz4n screams... erm, yeah, so does Araches (just less). Of course, you pass through the barrier unharmed. On the other side the tunnel continues on, not to mention you find the ten Noberries and rock you threw into the gate. Invintory: -Wings -Thirductnotescraptstrudelire -57 Noberries -Dagger -Snufuss Coat -Pandora's Shoe -Pandora's Can -Basketball -Orb -Chaos Cord -Rock |

But Faw would NEVER... ah, whatever.
Let L33tz4n give Faw mouth-to-mouth after she was calmed down by telling her the story of the happy little Baby Snufuss that got lost in a forest, but a big, friendly processor appeared and brought it back home, and everyone was happy, and they ate marshmallows... uhm.. yes. You try to use Araches apathetic state of mind to kiss her, which ends up in her slapping you and being perfectly normal again.

Your party has been revived. Continuing down the path, you come to another gate. Nothing special about this one, just an ordinary iron gate. Some mean person filled in the keyhole with wax, probably from a candle they were carrying. |
Sep 6, 2003, 06:53 AM | |
Wax, eh...
Try to remember if anyone can use fire-based magic or if there's anything that can make fire in the inventory. If not, there've gotta be some torches in these caverns... how else should they have found their way in there?

The Chaos Cord appears to be a normal rope. 'Course, you're sure you'll discover all it's terrible secrets all too fast while trying to scale a mountain or something.
The basketball is a standard orange ball with black lines. If I could remember the name of a basketball making company, it would say it across the ball. But I can't remember. The light from the gems is soft and heatless. it comes out as a sort of rainbow mix of colors, primarily white. The sky blue orb evidently shows what is real, nothing more and nothing less. Like the old codes in video games that displayed the mask so you could see where invisible platforms or secret passages were. You look through the orb and see the white outlines of your party, the cave, and the gate. |

This is easy.
Feed L33tz4n, Araches, and Faw a noberry each, and see what happens. If anybody becomes incredibly hot and/or fire-based, make them use their 10 minutes melting the wax in the hole. If anybody begins to phase through things, make them phase through the gate to see what is on the other side for 6 minutes, then using the last 4 minutes to rejoin their party. If none of these work, use the DAGGER to cut the wax. Also, glitch Faw, since Faw cannot be both green and healthy. XD (pwned!)

Dagger won't work since "It couldn't even cut a shoe lace".
Noberries are SORT of random, dontcha think? And I'm as healthy as veggies. Healthy veggies. With some disease, but that doesn't count. EDIT: Oh, yeah. Ask L33tz4n if the Snufuss can breathe fire. *wiggles eyebrows*

Well, the party doesn't have any more Trafton Berries, as far as I can tell, and the trading post doesn't have them anymore, so Fawriel would have to go pick some.
I would assume a Traftonberry and a Noberry would turn you into a Noberry bush. Either that or some sort of magical flight creature, or whatever that paticular Noberry's effects are. Tie Chaos Cord around Basketball. Lean back, holding Chaos Cord. Fling Chaos Cord (and Basketball) at Gate. |
Sep 6, 2003, 04:31 PM | |
You really don't think the glowing gems would be significant light to start a fire, and you know the basketball isn't flammable. They stopped making them flammable after that event in 2214.
Of course, eating Noberries is always fun. You distribute them among your party and note the random effects. L33tz4n loses her voice, Araches turns into an anime ChibiFox, Fawriel turns into a non-anime-mutated creature, and your leg turns into a bottle. None of this is really helpful. As a last (for now) resort, you tie the basketball to the Chaos Cord. You fling the end with the basketball towards the door and it hits you in the face. |
