You walk south. This room is brightly lit and has three exits - north, east (the only path not lit), and west. There is a lever in the middle of the room.
The hallways are lit by lightbulbs, about three inches in diameter, hanging from a wire going along the ceiling.

Can the wire be pulled down, so a lightbulb can be laid on the ground?

The wire is fastened firmly to the ceiling. The spoon is made from plastic. The ballista is mostly wood, but is fastened together by several pieces of metal.

Can Shuri reach the lightbulb?

If she uses MAD NINJA SKILLS^TM.

Then Grab a lightbulb and see if she can bring it down!

You get a running start, jump up, and grab the lightbulb. You hang from it for a second, then it snaps from the wire and you fall hard on the ground. Obtained lightbulb!

I assume the lightbulb isn't working because it has no power.

Yup.

Say: "Hey Faw, can I borrow your spear?"

Action: Dismantle Ballista.

Fawriel hands you his spear.

You dismantle the ballista. You now have an assortment of wooden pieces and metal plates.

Invent fire.

Place Mouse on the end of the spear
Place Mouse on Spear on a lit lightbulb from the celiling
When mouse smells done, remove mouse from bulb
Flip mouse over on the spear
Put mouse back on the lit lightbulb
When mouse smells done, remove mouse from bulb.
Enjoy some nice, fried mouse!

Somebody already owns the patent on fire.

You stick the mouse on the spear and put it near a lit lightbulb. You stand. And wait. For a lightbulb to cook meat.

Rub sticks together to make a fire

You don't have sticks. And only one free hand, from holding a mouse next to a lightbulb.

Say: "Hey Faw, be a lamb and make some fire... Just rub two sticks together and a fire will be made."

Put down mouse. Rub together wooden peices from ballista.

"Hey Faw, be a sheep and make some fire... Just rub two sticks together and a fire will be made," you tell him. Fawriel takes two random ballistapieces and starts to rub them together. Nothing seems to be happening.

Put mouse down
Cut a lock of hair off using katana
Say: "Here...use this as some kindling."
Resume cooking mouse on lightbulb.

You put down the spear and cut off a lock of hair. "Here," you say, handing it to Fawriel, "use this as some kindling." He puts the hair on the wood pieces and continues to rub them together.

@Ekard: We all know that. However, we don't want to scare Faw with big words, and it gets referred to as "that time of month" a lot anyway. Your complaint is somewhat similar to saying "It's called Frostbiter, not Ice!".

After about fifteen minutes, the mouse starts to sizzle. Fawriel is still rubbing the wood together.

Remove mouse from bulb.
Flip mouse over, so sizzling side is on the spear.
Replace mouse on the bulb.

Okay, okay. I'll stop. It's just that I've had a really bad day...

Say: "Are you making any progress, Faw?"

You flip the mouse around to cook the other side. "Are you making any progress?" you ask Fawriel.
Faw looks down at the sticks and frowns. "I think they might be broken," he says.
