Araches: Cast TheOsamaEffect on Fooruman.

Aarches casts The Osama Effect on Fooruman (let's call forgoten spells a bonus for people who read the whole thread). Fooruman now has two, parallel beards. "I sticky of such APPLE!" Fooruman says. You can't tell if that's a good or bad thing.

Action: Climb to top of sphere.

You climb back on top of the sphere.

Action: Stand on sphere and look at it.

The sphere is round and smooth. It is made of stone. There is a ring around it and pillars to your north, south, east, and west. The ring is elliptical(sp?) and offset slightly to one side.

The first wind of ascension is Forger, burning away impurity.
The second wind of ascension is Reaver, slaying the unworthy.

The fifth wind of ascension is Exalter, fufilling Keld's destiny.


Hm. Forger, Reaver, Eliminator, Anointer, Exalter. Forger focuses on the enemy, Reaver removes all oposition, Eliminator removes power from the enemy, Anointer refreshes yourself, and Exalter increases your forces.


So, all we need to do is figure out what is what, right?

Action: Look for writing on any of the pillars/sphere.

There is evidence that there was once writing on these pillars, but it has long since been worn away. Carefully examining the pillar south of the sphere, you can make out a tiny, worn carving of a flower.

Oh. Um. A flower.
And a circle.
With a ring around it.. umm...

Carefully examine the north pillar. or the east. or the west. Really, just find another worn carving.

Your eyes are too sux to see anything else. L33tz4n, however, examines the pillar on the other side and can make out what looks a bit like the Canadian flag. You look for a while after that, but the rest has worn off.

Save.
Put the leaves that look like the Canadian flag into the carving.

The carving is very light; stuff won't fit in it. You put the maple leaf on top of the pillar. Nothing happens.

Place maple leaf on top of leaf pillar.
Place wildflower on top of flower pillar.
Place berry on top of east pillar.
Place fruit on top of west pillar.
If nothing happens; switch berry and fruit.

You place the leaf, flower, berry, and fruit on the pillars. Nothing happens. You switch the berry and fruit. Still no reaction.

...A flower you say?

"Yes. The forest's been changed. I think maybe it happened when that thing appeared in the village, and we were all running across the island too fast to notice anything."

Game saved. Haven't done that in a while.

"Ok, universal constants still apply," you say. You stare down the east path. It appears to be nothing more than another path leading into the forest, yet something seems different about it. You can't seem to put your finger on it.

You walk east a few steps and stick your finger out into the path. In a shower of sparks, something chomps off most of your robotic arm. There's a few brief choking noises before a malformed piece of scrap metal comes flying back at you. When you regain your senses, the path has vanished. The sound of something moving through the undergrowth is quickly coming from behind you.

Not in the middle of all this fun! Game saved!

You panic at the idea that something just bit off your arm and is probably behind you.

Have L33tz4n use summon soap on it.

With a wave of her hand, L33tz4n sends the magically summoned bar of soap flying. You see the bar vanish from sight and hear a loud "thud", while the forest in front of you bends akwardly. Soon after, you hear the sound of breaking twigs again, as if something is moving.

Anyone remember what we did with the orb... sky... see... whatever it was called... that only showed the truth?
