"Wait a minute. I just had a revelation." Xion says aloud. Diesel looks at Xion like he's crazy or something.

'Oh?' asks L_G. 'What do you have planned?'

Gonna go watch DBZ now. XD

"How am I speaking with you? I'm positive you're not in Ivalace." Xion telepaths to L_G.

"What are you talking about, master?" Diesel asks.

"A friend in another plane just happened to make telepathic communication with me. I may be able to speed up the planar travel skills." Xion says with a smirk. The two head for the inn and rest for the night.

Going to bed now...will return in the morning.

Oh, and there is something you must remember about such a seige situation- you cannot control how the battles start. You can attack, but the defender gets to choose what forces are sent to you. And you must take this one step at a time. The areas you must fight through to get to the Pylon are as follows-

1. Outer walls
2. Main hallway
3. Barracks
4. Factory room tier 1
5. Factory room tier 2
6. Pylon room

Each room gives you more and more resistance till you get to the Pylon room, at which point you will need to fight all I can throw at you. You better gain some levels on the way, too.

That's why we're not going to fight right away. >=)

Xion's had a rough night. First night of life usually is rough, but he has been trying to unbury his planeswalking skills. Diesel is snoring, and that adds to Xion's discomfort.

@Cooba: His base is on a moon orbiting Ragol, I think.

Cooba entered the factory. The hallway behind main door seems to be ended with pair of stairs. But when he walked near it, he saw that one of them are locked by a solid metal grate. Then, Tangert pushed a brick nearby, and grate opened.
Ghost didn't want anyone of technicians to go down. He went there only with Cooba. The stairs were long, but they finally ended. It was very hot. Like in a factory or something like that.
Tangert pushed door that were at end of stairs. They opened. Cooba and ghost come through them, and they closed. Cooba looked back and he saw no door behind him, only the same concrete wall with the same bricks. (NOTE1 : Risp and Tangert has their own stairs to Factory Room) Then, Tangert come to door with label:

PYLON ROOM
Authorized Personnel Only

"Stay there" - says Tangert, showed him a corner of room. Cooba walked there. Tangert pushed a lever nearby door, and a comp voice said: "Authorization needed to enter Pylon chamber." Then, the laser beam blast from ceiling and hitted the eye-like shaped spot where Tangert is standing. Because of his transparency, beam went across him. Laser hitted the center of eye and started to detecting something...

"Authorization confirmed."

Door opened. Cooba was shocked 'coz of snareness of guy that built this security system... Tangert said to him: "Don't enter. I have to talk with master", and come across the corridoor leading to 'Pylon Room'.
Cooba waited for Tangert. Waited. Waited. Sleeped.
Sound of door opening awaked battle mage from dream. He looked at Tangert, but there was no Tangert. Instead, there was a tall man in a red shirt, black pants, grey with red stripes cape, black hat, and with blinking crystal in hand. Cooba thought: "Well, this should be this 'master' that this ghost was speaking about".
Rspss - because it was he - said to Cooba: "Well, you should be this bad guy that Tangent was speaking about. Hewwo. My name is Risp. What's your name?"
"Eww... Cooba. Call me Cooba."
"OK. Well, Cooba, Tangent said that you've defeated some guardians of this temple, while they were on medium-high alert. YaY. It is true?"
"Of course" - said Cooba. "You don't believe your own troop?"
"Oh..."
"Anyway. Are you the one that built this complex?"
"I wasn't alone. Some guys..."
"OK, thank you. Well, I must say, that it has very well security grid. Nice place to hide."
"Errm, we have something STRONGER to hide *cough*" - said Rspss, touching the label that say "Pylon Room(...)" with his finger.
"Oh." - told mage. "And what is this Pylon?"
"It's a machine. It protects the current dimension against being invaded. All things that tries enter it while Pylon works, are sent back."

Actually, the fortress is not there. It is on the moon of an undefined planet, and used to be Tangent's own fortress before it was expanded into a larger base worthy of the Peep Army.

Plus, the only thing accurate thing about my description was the red. OK, here are my people's descriptions-

Rspss Fr-
Wears a red shirt, black pants, a grey with red stripes cape made of silksteel (a very strong and lightweight material), and a black thinking hat. He has glasses which can link to the video screens of his fortress when in combonation with his thinking cap.

Niz-
An alien cyber lord (master of hackers). Wears a black dress with green lines on it, a hat in similar motif with three antenni, and always followed by a small amout of random robots.

I already have posted the descriptions of Tangent, Martin, and Delta in different places (in this thread and in everyone's characters.)

"Xion..." Diesel shakes Xion vigorously. "Master! Wake up! It's already noon!"


"But I don't want to go to school today..." Xion sleeply mumbles. Xion opens his eyes and looks around. "Oh." A large anime-like sweat drop forms on the back of Xion's head. "I forgot. Life."

"Life of a planeswalker, Master." Diesel replies. "Now, we need for you to meditate and get your skills back."

"Actually, most of my skills are within a database on Gran Da Val." Xion explains. Diesel looks confused. "A large knowledge base...bigger than the sages. The only problem is that I put it all there." Xion grins uneasily. "But in order for me to get there, I need one of two things...Planeswalking magic..." Xion looks at the market below. "...Or a Telepipe. And I am quite sure Ivalace doesn't have that advanced technology to make one." Xion turns around and notices Diesel holding a small black object. "Where...did you get that?"

"Xion, I have a confession to make." Diesel says, ashamed. "I swiped a large amount of your stuff as we were meditating over the year."

"And a telepipe was one of the things you swiped?" Xion says. 'I'm not sure if I should be angry or happy...' Xion thinks.

"Yes. I was selling them on the black market. I was making quite a gil from it too. This is the only one I have left." Diesel raises it to Xion to hand it back. Xion takes it, presses the button, and throws it on the floor. "What are you doing?" Diesel says, distressed.

"Come on..." Xion says. "We have a pylon to take down." Diesel and Xion enter the Telepipe and shift planes and other things to the Gran Da Val base.

"Hold...still!" Xion says, holding Diesel's ear. Xion puts a small object in Diesel's earlobe, and Diesel flinches. "I think it stuck that time."

"That hurts! Why would you want that in your ear?" Diesel says, fondling his ear.

"For skills, of course." Xion smirks.



Two hours have passed since Xion and Diesel left Ivalace. Xion put his chip in right away. Diesel, however, resisted the chip for an hour and hid in Rach's pen. The other hour was trying to brave the chip and get it implanted in his ear. Diesel didn't like getting things implanted in his ear...or implanted anywhere, for that matter. Diesel had three fears...Needles being one of them. Paranoia didn't help much, and also a fear of electrical shock was his final dread.

"Now what?" Diesel says.

"Now we wait. We wait for the magic to flow into our bodies." Xion explains.

"I don't want to wait...Wanna play a game of chess?" Diesel suggests.

"Sounds good." Xion says, then brings out a chess set.

I apologize for not being on this afternoon, I got PSO3 and played it all afternoon...very godo game.

Thinking about it, when L_G asked me about the dangers of destroying the Pylon while it was still on and how stupid it was to make because it could severly damage the universe, I just realized (read: realized about a day ago and was too lazy to say till now) that that is mostly the same thing about plansewalking. And, as another thing, why arn't there other Pylon equivalents out there, hounding all the plansewalkers on how the loss of one universe will hurt them so? These things always happen somewhere.

Because they've all been stopped, Risp.

"So..." Xion says, moving one of his pieces across the board. "How much did you steal from me?"

"Mostly small things, like potions and such." Diesel responds, moving his piece. "But I found a small cache of those small things that you called a 'telepipe.' Seeing them as useful technology, I swiped three of them. Two of them sold, but then I got a bad rep for selling something that is useless."

"Useless?" Xion almost drops his piece in the middle of the board.

"Nobody knew how to work them. And when they figured out how to activate them, they just made pretty streams of light. Nobody knew how to walk through the planes to Gran Da Val with them..." Diesel moves his piece. "Not even me. Mate." Xion looks at the board, stunned. A few hypothetical moves of pieces, but to no avail. "Dumb luck?" Diesel says with a stupid grin on his face. Xion nods silently. The computer screen flashes, and says one word: COMPLETE.

"Ah. Our skills have been updated fully." Xion says. Xion moves his hand in a small motion and rips a portal. Xion has a large grin on his face. Diesel moves his hand in the same way, and also rips a portal. "We are one in the same, Diesel. You are no longer my apprentice." Diesel smiles. Xion presses a few strokes of keys, and Diesel yawns behind him.

"Anywhere I can crash for the night, Xion?" Diesel asks.

"Yeah. Down that hallway, fourth door on the right." Xion says, pointing. Diesel heads down the hallway, and Xion continues to watch over Tangent with his planar cameras.

L_G stood there, looking out into the black mist of the Shadow Realm. 'I wonder how Xion's doing?' he wonders. L_G reaches out with his telepathic powers, attempting to contact Xion. 'I may have to teach him the Fusion Dance...if all else fails, that'll be our best chance of winning.'

Xion's ear twitches. "Yes?" Xion says, then typing a few things into his computer. In the corner, L_G appears in a realtime-camera.

With infinite planes and infinite universes contained within infinite dimensions, every possible outcome has been acheived. So in theory, an infinite number of pylons work without any disruption, while an infinite number have been sucsessfully stopped. Planeswalking is still possible, so we can only assume that a pylon would only severe a plane from every single other one, not completly eradicate all planes, which in short would have destroied everything in it's entirety. Your conclusion is unfounded. You are attempting to associate the Butterfly Effect with a plane being severed, stateing that similarly resonante planes would be severed too. While this may be possible depending on the efficiency of the pylon, you are only blocking travel from your plane to all other planes and vice versa, as shown by the fact that planes walking is still possible.

The butterfly effect works because when a pylon is successfully installed, anything within the plane becomes expelled out after a matter of time. They pylon blocks INCOMING walks, not outgoing. So shells that expire within the plane ship their souls out to another plane. But for every death within a plane there has to be a death in every plane, so that a jump is made. Overpopulation of a plane comes from one of two things, dumb luck or a blockage of a walk to a plane. And since the plane has no incoming souls, the shells are just that: brainless, souless shells wandering the plane. Nothing happens, and that's what Planeswalkers try to protect. See, we're protecting the entire fabric of time of the planes, not just one single plane.

Actually, the Pylon only adds power to the Universe's efforts to rebound incoming things. The Universe does not try to stop souls, because otherwise the souls would be unable to pass.

the butterfly effect doesn't work because ther're infinite planes, thusly some planes may have inifinite space with an infinite number of souls, while another may have 0.0...1 space and 0 souls. Thusly there is infinite number of areas for souls to go into, and over population is nary a problem. On a side note, every single person is a planes walker going by your theory. Anyway...

again, going by the place with 0.0...1 space and 0 souls, your theory is flawed.

In a way, every person is a planeswalker. It's just that planeswalkers know how to "control their given powers"

Xion! Great job at dodging answering any of the important parts of Strato's reply!

I already made those points clear: A plane with a pylon has no more souls in it, thusly making your 0.0 plane truth. Granted, there can be a plane with infinite souls, but hopefully this plane will never have to happen since we don't want all the souls within a single plane. That single plane could not contain that many souls, thusly the fabric of time tears. All those souls are lost, and more souls come to replace them. Where do the souls come from? The lost souls just get recycled. You put the souls in a huge hypothetical blender and they all get destroyed and recreated with new parts.

Needless to say, I'm quite sure this happened in the past.

Wait. Where did you say all the souls of a plane with a Pylon in it dissapear? I am sure I made an argument for all that stuff you were babbiling about how the Pylon would make the Plane eventually run out of souls (even then you forgot about beings that cannot die of old age), but I never saw anything talking about how all the souls would dissapear.

Apparently you agree that there are natural infinities so that makes this debate a lot easier. Anyway, time isn't a fabric as most people tend to beleive. It consists of cones and arrows, but that is completly off topic. An infinite number of infinite sized planes exist, and have since the begining. These infinite planes can infact contain as many souls as it wants because it has infinite space. Any one soul can go for infinity without ever contacting another soul. However there are also infinite planes without infinite space, and therefore and infinite number of souls are being hypothetically blended per infintecmal period of time, and causing no ill effects spare the unfortunante lost souls. My understanding of planes has about as much truths to it as yours, and we're getting no where, so I suggest we just end this battle........

Yes, but I already said that the Universe does not try to stop this, so the Pylon does not prevent souls from entering. Please say where my nonsense is less sensical than your nonsense.

Last comment: Since the pylon "creates a resistance to planeswalking" and the only thing that resists planeswalking is the only thing that resists antimatter is matter itself. Thusly, wouldn't the entire plane make all the matter enhanced and killing off every shell within the plane because they would suffocate, or at least drown, and thusly making a 0.0 plane.

I already said what it does is strengthen the Universe's natural response to planeswalking from non-souls (kicking the planeswalkee out.) Thus the only way it could suffocate people in it's plane is if they are relying on food shipments from other planes.

'Xion, I've called you to see if you've thought about my offer of allying with me,' transmits L_G. 'This may be the only way to stop Strato and his minions.'

Xion snorts in his sleep. Diesel wakes up from this, from being in the next room over, and looks at Xion asleep. "Somehow, we're alike. I don't know why, but I just feel like it."

L_G catches Diesel's eye, and Diesel approaches the screen. "Xion..." L_G is mumbling.

I assume you two are waiting for the mass revival spell to finish?
