Description

Jazz Jackrabbit 1, Episode 5, Planet 2.
That is where you can find Sluggion, the planet of the slugs.
Sluggion is a fertile planet, with several large brown structures, which appear to be from another time. The structures are getting immersed in greenery, and no trace of the original inhabitants is left. Just a few mysterious creatures.
This is such a fun planet.
(Reuploaded due to major bug in example level) (Reuploaded again: six tiles changed) (Reuploaded AGAIN: Six more tiles changed, bug in example level fixed, bug in tileset fixed, four tiles rearranged, fix any levels you may have made with this)

A fairly good conversion. I dont think I saw a sluggion conversion on j2o. I love Jazz Jackrabbit 1………..

JJ Tublear is right, we need all conversions if we wanna make a jj1 episode. Keep at it Violet, so far your conversions are good.[This review has been edited by Blackraptor]

Edit: More info:

This conversion has either most or all tiles required, and extra which most convertors dont add in (destruct blox, poles, textured backround etc.)
Some tiles could of been better, but overall, this is good for a conversion, not as good as deserto, nippiud or candion, but great nonetheless[This review has been edited by Blackraptor]

Okay, here a new JJ1 conversion. A nice one this time.

It’s a bit small tileset (10 × 33). There’s grass, Nice background (why you used purple tubes in the Xample?), and flowers (on the garss). Userfriendly very good.
The music is bad, i think it’s not good by this tileset.

Overall a nice leafy JJ1 tileset. Download reccomedation.

Looks good. I didn’t play a lot of JJ1 (I only owned the demo) but it looks great nonetheless. Good Job. _[This review has been edited by KJAZZ]

Very good conversion. Gets all nostalgic about JJ1 How long has it been since JJ2 came out? Four years? (And then some.) And we STILL are missing a majority of the JJ1 sets? We, the community of Jazz 2, demand more conversions!

Oh, and Taz, hate to break it to ya’, but that IS the Sluggion music. And if you ask me, it rocks!

The tileset looks good, but like most JJ1 conversions, it is missing some key tiles. (And has a lack of animations other than arrows.) Like those diagonal pipes? (I think they were in Sluggion, but it’s been a long time.) Anyway, keep up the good work.

Oh, and btw, cool caption on the example level!

All Jazz 1 fans, download this!

Very good. Almost no tiles are missing, masking is nice.

I don’t think we’ll miss diagonal pipes since we can’t make diagonal suckers. Whatever, this deserves a 8. For more info, read the other reviews. HAHA.[This review has been edited by Fl@$h aka BlewMeUp]

Groovy!

Cool tileset, good masking. I don’t know if there are tiles missing, since I never saw this before, since I only have the demo, but it’s cool anyways.

Everyone: download NOW!!

If, by “Diagonal pipes” you mean the sucker tubes, there were no diagonal pipes in Sluggion. Quite a few tiles in the tileset (obviously) were added.

If anyone can tell me any animations and/or tiles this conversion is missing, I will very gladly fix it ASAP.[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]

A great conversion, but I wish you didn’t include the music, I HATE the music! AAH! Oh, well, I’m not taking off anything for that, but nice job, Violet.

EYECANDY SEARCH: Didn’t find any but the skyline. That’s it…

FEATURES: You have those so called SUCKER TUBE features and V and H-POLES but nothing else.

COLOURS: At least there is no ‘TOO BRIGHT’ colours in the tileset. I’m missing the DEVAN, TICK and JAZZ signs in the tileset.

RATING: 7.2

DOWNLOAD RECOM…: Just about yes

FINAL COMMENT: It’s not too bad. 7.2 is kind of good and a bit not so good. You may be good at making a TUBELECTRIC tileset

Sigh… A jazz1 conversion. How many of those we’ve seen….
But, it’s certainly a good one! As the title suggests, this is a conversion of the Jazz1 planet Sluggion. Correct bg, palette is deadon, fair amount of sluff tiles [tiles that serve no purpose, except to look cool], this is a very good conversion! My one beef is that it is a bit small. But this is not a big beef. Back to the set. It will be infinitely useful to anybody converting Jazz1 levels (whop unngh..), making battles, ctf, or basically whatever you happen to think of. DL. It’s sweet.
