Today is a pretty day. Not freezing, but enough cold that snow can quietly come down the sky. And version 2 is here. With 7 tilesets and 24 levels. Enjoy.
This is very cool battle. I now host on my server :D
I can never make battle levels like these for some reason :(
Well anyways, the music files are some of my favourites. I like the layout, Drake is right, there is a bit to many weapons, I got stuck in one level :(
Download reccomendation.
(I hope I spelled it right) :)
Edit: I hope this will be the longest review i ever did, and if so, yea. In this review, i will be rating all ur battle tilesets combined. Icluding Space, Woodlands, Forest, Glacier, Desert, Rocks, Aztec, Wasteland, Beton, Beton night and Forest night. Here goes starting with Beton
The tileset is very spiffy, looks like its from the future. I think its the onkly one with actual sucker tubes, im not sure though (beton night doesnt count). In the levels, like in all, there was to much ammo, and it was way to big, so ppl might have download problems. The music suits the tileset, and even though all that, this is still one of my least favourite tilesets in this pack. Rating: 8.6 Beton night, a similar version to beton, except with a darker palette, is more of my favourite then beton, because i like night tilesets more. Everything to say about these levels is written above about Beton, so read that for more information. The desert tileset, lets see um…..It has to much of the same colours, but thats because its a desert. The backround would ov looked better in blue, but its yellow, like almost everything else. There is an inside and an outside part in this tileset. Also, there are rocks, cactuses and a few other things for decoration. Like Beton and Beton night, it has layer 6 and 7 backround eyecandy. The levels are fine and fun. The colour of green springs and your fur changesm which makes it more interesting. Still to big and to much ammo though. Rating: 9.1 Rocks Another one of my least favourite, mostly because the ground, which is composed of either 2 tile, single tile, or 4 tile rocks, which if u put together, light will be visible from the backround through the many visible cracks, and i dont like that. The music is ok, and there is 2 backrounds in this tileset, i like that idea. In the levels, there are the same mistakes over and over again, and i got stuck several times in one of the rocks levels. Rating: 8.8 Aztec This tileset, again has single tile, 2 tile or four tile blocks, without spaces on the edges though. It sometimes looks to “blocky” but it has layer 6 and 7 backround as well as level 5 bacround (i use it for layer 5 ;P). The Music ruxors, although i do not think its the best. The levels have the same problem. Rating:9.5 Glacier Probably my favourite, i luv ice tilesets, and you could make superb eyecandy with this. The music, i think, is the best, and well suited for the tileset. In the level, there is a shield, which isnt that good, but at least its hidden, so no marks off for that. Rating: 9.7 Woodlands This one was one of the “medium” tilesets, the music was ok, and the tileset looked ok, no really “Wide” ground, just a few thin sticks. This tileset, sadly has no layer 7 and 6 backround, marks off, and same comments about the levels, but they are a tad smaller this time. Rating: 9.0 Forest: One of the good ones, it looks oil painted, and has many many decorations like trees and bushes. It has a good backround and backround eyecandy, and the music is good. Rating: 9.6 Forest night: Same as forest, but night. No battle levels made for this tileset. Wasteland: Another ok one, but with no backround. Although, i did get an updated version of this from BlurredD’s pack. In the level, there are some fine secrets that spice it up more, but im unsure of what to rate it. Rating: Unsure Space: Second best probably, its a bit hard to use, but really cool. There are several good backrounds you could use, and tons of backround eyecandy. Tne music size was very big, but the music was good. The levels, although i feel it could of used more eyecandy, were good. Rating: 9.7I think this might be the longest review on J20, so i am satisfied. The main problems in the levels were that they were to big and sometimes confusing, and to much ammo.
The main problem in the tilesets were occasionally, a few tiles were missing now and then.
The final thing i need to say to u all is happy long download ;D

Edit: Nope, it didnt even come close to being the longest ;P[This review has been edited by Blackraptor]
Hmm, well, I didn’t review this the first time so I’ll do so now..
all in all this pack is pretty awesome. Has some great battle levels, superb tilesets with amazing music choices. It was a good idea to use WORKING textured bgs in all of your tilesets, as they add a super-cool effect. The levels are pretty good too. In of themselves their only downfall is that they get really boring after you’ve played them considering they all have the same style of layout and design.
Overall this is GREAT and I recommend EVERYONE get this now.
by and by this gets silly dont expect a review from me here[This review has been edited by aiko]

Yep. I won’t rate this again.
Not too much to add to iCeD’s review. I also agree that they all have the same layout and design. Personally, when the tilesets became reused, I thought I was in the same lvl as the first time. ;) I also agree that the music choice is also very good. Also, the tilesets are not too hard, yet not too easy to use. I may have prefered a little more ease-of-use, but it’s OK.
Also, I found 1 or 2 things that did not look right, but minor flaws. But I did not like the style of design quite as much as iCeD, I found a few dead-ends that are not too good for a Battle level. Still, this is a extremely solid download, and I suggest EVERYBODY to download this RIGHT AWAY! :)I like the tilesets, levels, and music but I would like to hear the music for all the time that I’m playing the level.
Can you do that? [This review has been edited by Stinger]

I’m afraid that the music loop bug is unfixable. The problem is in the track, and I don’t want to touch them. Mostly because of that I’m not an artist, and can’t handle them.
These levels are great! Though I have one suggestion. If you decide to come out with a (3rd and final) battle set, include your other ones (Woodlands and Forest) all in one. It just gets fairly annoying having to download everything seperate.
[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
Please, these clutter my home-cooked levels list. Check the little box that hides the levels!! Not in all of them, leave maybe 1 level unchecked, or one from each tileset of yours.
A great bunch of levels and tilesets. I reccomend a download.

This is one of the best packs i have ever come accross, although you need a fast PC to make them look prettier. I would thoroughly recommend this one, although it can take quite a long time. The music Throughout the pack is excellent, as is the placement of the stuff. It is best to play these when you have a lot of people, other wise they can get boring, if you only have something like 2 people on the server. I think that all of Blades’ tilesets looks exceptional, and these are no exception. The levels are very well laid out, and great fun to play…Excellent!
This is perfect battle pack…..
it has perfect eyecandy
perfect weapon placement etc.
if you dont have this then download it!!
tilesets ar good
the levels ar big and ver very good
ammo placed very good
eyecandy good
———————————————-
this pack is very very big
mayby you must host these levels.
the musics ar very very cool-good
so my rating from me an 10!
if you make another pack dont make it SO big LOL :D

Ok, I already reviewed volume 1, but that had only 10 levels, so that was a small review.
Wasteland battles: They were so good with lots of eyecandy in layer 4 and good ammo placement, everything good.
Glacier battles: Also awesome and big. Eyecandy in this levels were awesome too. This is a good example how you can make awesome eyecandy without using many layers.
Rocks battles: Also awesome. All levels were that so I can’t say more about it.
Well you know that all levels were awesome and it’s a big pack, but not enough to get a 10 from me. But still, it’s the best battle pack.
I give it a 9.7
Lemme review this:
Only some lvls are good actually the only one i think is good is ‘black metal’.
Gameplay: all the lvls but some have many little passageways that are the only ways to things, and some of the lvls have shields, ppl get censored off when they c someone with shieldsand they ban. also what is the point in dead-ends, if u have no weapons, u can just get buggered. The secret ways to get powerups are quite annoying, coz someone may not kno how to get it like i had the seeker Powerup once and the other ppl couldnt find it so they banned me, it needs to be simple like battle 1,2,3.
Eyecandy: Could be a lot better, i dont remember but in a load of the lvls only layers 3,4,5 and 8 have been used. U made great tilesets and u used them greatly but u could have used them better, at least i never spotted many bugs.
Pickups: Everything is greatly placed but i hate the way u need to find a secret to get weapon or power-up, and also nothing is impossible to get to or is there?
this battle pack is not as good as the rating is.
hey blade cool battle pack but personally prefered Bladesbattle vol 1 still good though.Thyst.
(Unsupported rating removal. Give more detail… what is good about this upload? What is bad? Why is it inferior to Volume 1? ~Violet)[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]

Close enough, BlackRaptor. We all know what you meant.
As for this pack, all I can say is OMG WOW! I still don’t understand why Volume 2 is rated lower than Volume 1, ‘cuz this stuff ROXXORS! Keep making levels like these, Blade… you’re a betterment to the world, not to mention the JJ2 community! ;D

This is my favourite Battlepack!!!
VERY COOL Levels
VERY COOL Tilesets and
VERY COOL music!
told it me, if you make new levels!
The Bignick!
[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
Nift-o rific pack `ya got here Blade. These are some of the best battle levels i`ve ever seen on this site, or anywhere else! The design is almost perfect and its got smooth gameplay. There are a few dead ends, but thats not so bad. The music selection is great. Only almost every music file stops playing at one point, and then you dont hear no music at all until you die, or go to the next level, but i guess thats not your fault. Keep up the good work! The only thing that keeps you from geting a 10.0 is that it doesnt have as much feel as real clasic levels like SandStrand O’ Hazes by Spy for example. Yousee, when youm play levels like that, with the music and stuff, you can actuely feel some sort of something, and that..er…feeling is realy great. The levels that had that most where to me the Glacier levels, mainly because of the excelent music selection.
