I HATE THIS LEVEL! THE AUTHOR HAS NO TALENT! DO YOU HEAR ME?! NOOOOOOOO TALENT!!!
Hehe, okay, seriously, this level IS AWFUL! cough*gasp sorry, had that one stuck in my throat :)
This level actually isnât all that bad. ESPECIALLY considering it was Newspazâs first. I can hardly abide what passes for second and third levels with some people. Clearly, when you look at this level, you realize that the author actually thought about what he was doing. Certainly there are some "bugs" (overabundance of carrots, tall objects keeping you from skipping ahead which you can jump with SpazâŠ) but design is clearly present. With more common "first levels", the only design would seem to be if the author intends to prove evolution is true or something (because the levels look like the result of a big bangâŠor maybe just a little thhbtt)
Overall the level could have used a bit more work. It has a "rough" feel as though you are playing a beta testing version, but otherwise I donât really have any complaints.
Itâs very short, but itâll give you about thirty seconds worth of smile time.

Even for a level that was made towards the end of 1998, when JCS was just starting to be noticed by Jazzers, it really isnât that good. The eyecandy is one of the weakest points of the level, so Iâll address it first. There are several eyecandy problems in this level. The first is that there are numerous tile bugs that can be distracting and lead to an overall not-so-enjoyable experience. The gameplay is not much better either, but is still passable. The levelâs flow, however, seems to not have been planned very much. It ranged from middling to annoying. There are obviously no fancy-schmancy effects using such amazing high-tech devices as ambient lighting or sound, but I really wasnât expecting that from a level made in the good ole days. Itâs worth a download to see an older level and Newspazâs first level, but itâs not that great and you shouldnât expect it to be a classic level.

My first though when i played it "Man, Newspaz isnt serious about this pieceâoâcr⊠level". Then i read your description above :-)
Well, to put it short:
bad tile placement and bad event placement in many places, wrong tileset chosen (Carrottus!) and way too short and easy. Music is missing. Clearly below the average of nowadays.

heh, but in truth, this isnât bad. Itâs below average, yes. But that wonât stop me from saying âGood Job for a firstâ mine was a lot worseâŠ

Well anyhow its not that badâŠBetter than my levels :)âŠWait! It looks a lot like my levels! No eyecandy, ugly, and short! its got KJAZZ written all over it! :)
Well its good for a first.

Well, considering its his first level I wonât rate it too low (Haha..)
Thereâs no music, totally no eyecandy,
and its too easy and too short, but you must see my first, so I dont really care about it.

Heh Newspaz, my fist level was worst. I had NO idea how to use animations, and same for events. I had no lcue with tile placements etc. Not bad for a first though. My first got a 3âŠâŠ

Ehr ACE. Youâre supossed to review. Not to just say it sucks or not.
Iâm a busy guy with a lot of stuff to do. I donât have enough time to play it (SorryâŠ). Hey! But cheer up! My 1st level was a battle level with about 50 tiles in it and no backround (Resulting in a colorful jazz trailing behind meâŠ) Keep at ur levels, and uâll get better. Ur reviews will get better, and youâll be happy with ur well earned results.
