Description
Jazz defeated and killed after Devan Shell in Jazz Jackrabbit 3D Land Carrottus living with Eva and her 3 children receive a message from Spaz which gives away Darkan that Shell’s twin brother Devan is back to avenge his brother by the power of diamonds purple succeed Devan to resuscitate him and destroy Jazz and family.
Jazz with Spaz and Lori manages to stop him.

was it worth uploading these, would you think anyone would bother playing these levels? they are just liniare, hardly any placement, full of tilebugs, and i hardly see anything back from your ‘story’. crappy level, no DR.

To even call this JJ4 is just an insult. Eyecandy is very bad. No background in Layer 8 causes that distortion effect making the level look ugly.
Tilebugs are everywhere and there are only a few enemies. I finished the whole pack in less than a minute since levels are too short.

There are some packs that are good, some packs that are bad, and some packs that are begging to be taken to the curve beaten down then taken down a dark alley for even more pain. This is one of those cases. This pack is so incredibly bad that calling JJ4 is not only an insult to me, but to Jazz himself. This pack is insultingly bad. Luckily, I’ve played it so you don’t have to.
Lets start with:
Story
I found nothing to match what was given in the text.. The text strings where in a different language and even so the HUD made some of them hard to read. Bad start.

Level 1:
Eyecandey
Wow. This is one of the worst. Background looks horrible with tilebugs and parts that don’t have anything in it, causing problems. Layer 4 is one tile repeated or and over again. It’s floating and there’s nothing given. It’s about as horrible as it gets. No layer 3. Not much else to say.
Gameplay
Wow you run right, jump a little shoot and then your at the end. Done in about 10 seconds. Not only that but the end of level event is put in a random location. Took me a minute to find it.
Enemy Placement
I think there were 3 enemies. Need I say more?

Conclusion
Horrible first level.

Level 2
Eyecandey
Almost same deal. Background has tilebugs as usual. Not fully placed. Layer 4 consists of floating platforms that are incomplete. Looks bland and boring. No layer 3. The end consists of shoot blocks.
Gameplay
Here you jump across platforms to get to the end. If you fall, you go back to the start. There are some helicopters but there too high up. It’s boring and completed in about 20 seconds. Not much else to say.
Enemies and Pickups
NON! Only helicopters
Conclusion
Horrible.

Level 3
Eyecandey
Same deal as level two. Floating, boring, and tons of tilebugs.
Gameplay
Run right, kill two lizards and you win. About 3 seconds.

DR? This pack is horrible. One of the worst I’ve every played. Do your self a a favor and don’t download this. No matter how curious, don’t download it. Just because it’s called JJ4 this pack looses every last credit it has. No DR. Stay away.

Haven’t been around for a while, thought I’d chip something in…
Now for the level. I hate to say this about anybody’s pack (especially since it’s usually true about me), but I agree with a lot of people here who say that it needs work. The layout is ghastly. Enemies are curiously placed. I won’t even go into the eye candy because it’s not even worth mentioning. I played thru the pack in about 5 minutes and noticed plenty to improve on. I think most of it is already been said, but things like detailing, eventage, specifically length need to be fixed. Decor goes a lonnnng way towards gaining appeal for a level. Clever targets make for a challenge. And layout ALWAYS helps. I’m not quite sure what to label as pros since not many are in the pack.

Frankly I have to point out that the greater part of the piece needs work. If your story is what I think it is it is intriguing, but poorly fleshed out. Try writing it in English, as most people here read that. 3 levels is always pretty short for a sp pack, even a demo. My advice to you: get some good buddies to playtest your levels before you put ‘em up. The folks here generally don’t take well to half-baked projects. Take your time on this pack. There’s no rush. I’ve been building mine for 3 years now and it’s still nowhere near done. Get some practice. I know you’ll do better with it.
I’ll give you 1.5, since I’m really nice, but I can’t give you a dl rec, for as the others said, it honestly is kinda bad. Just keep trying!
