The name “King’s Peak” is inspired by the “King of the Hill” gametype. The theme is about competitions on a mountain peak at sunset.
I’ve always wanted to make a sunset themed jj2 level, but I found 8-bit graphics a little too restrictive for that. The latest jj2+ updates allow 24-32 bit graphics in jj2 levels.
If you see any significant problems, please contact me about them.
This is my entry to the “Clashing Swords: Duel Level Contest”.
Latest edits: In an attempt to improve flow and/or rf functionality, the top palm trees in both versions are altered, “hjkpec.j2l” is renamed to “hjkp3c.j2l”, and more eyecandy tweaks.

I would advise a few things:
- At least one more carrot, for better duel suitability and FFA suitability.
- Some more very minor splashes of both color and interactivity in the eyecandy. Maybe a few moths, or something on those lines.
- Consider working with another designer to replace the AI generated clouds (and to fix the improper parallax scrolling).
This could be a new Garden Brawl for a new generation.
