Don’t have an Ouya, but found yourself drooling over Towerfall, aka the only reason anyone ever seems to talk about Ouyas anymore? Well, you’re in luck, because now you can just play it in JJ2+ instead.
If you’re not familiar with Towerfall already, all you really need to know is that instead of bullets, in this level you fire arrows, which will arc downward over time and bury themselves in walls. Instead of ammo pickups, you collect the arrows that you and everyone else have been firing, once they’ve stopped moving.
Eight different bite-sized arenas are included in the level, one chosen randomly every time the level starts. Best played with a small number of players, and a low max score and/or low max health and/or LRS. If hosted in team battle/TLRS, arrows will be colored according to the team if the player who fired them; otherwise, they’ll be colored blue for you and red for all your enemies. The level comes with one graphics option and two gameplay options (or three if you count the fire arrows, which aren’t available if instagib is turned on).
Since AngelScript many of cool stuff started to appear in JJ2 posibilities and this level is one of examples.
Good concept, awesome performance, quite solid, but well looking eyecandy.
