Does anyone have an Alcetel SpeedTouch 510 series modem?
I'd normally post this in misc, but it actually has to do with JJ2.
I have been trying to play JJ2 online with the Alcatel SpeedTouch 510 series modem. This modem is sort of common in The Netherlands. Until now I didn't have any success but I thought someone might have managed to play JJ2 online with it. If you did, could you please contact me? Thanks in advance. (and yes, ofcourse I tried port forwarding) |

Did you try what I said in IRC yet? It's really a possibility you should check out, and it wouldn't hurt a bit if it failed.

Does your IP address (on your computer, not the modem) start with "10.", "172." or "192.168."? If so you'll need to open the ports on the modem. If it starts with something else, then check your firewall settings.

It's acting like a router then. You'll need to set up port forwarding, and if you have a firewall check the config on that too. Beyond that I can't help (tho you may find something useful in the firewall config on the router itself).

Lol. Port forwarding seems always to be the first answer and always the wrong one.
