Single player - why tell about this one? There is no fool around here who dont know what SP is.

All other gametypes - I didn't play yet, thus can't say nothing about them.

Gold Rush
Collect lots of coins, essentially. I haven't played Gold Rush in ages, so I can't really give you a good description.

Ground Force
Most people know this as Survivor because they watch too many stupid reality TV shows. Shoot blocks and don't fall off the level.

Single Player
Make your way through a series of levels, shooting badguys along the way.

Bank Robbery
One team tries to steal coins from a base while the other defends. After a while, the two teams switch.

Trivia
A host will ask questions and the players must answer. Depending on the host, the rules may vary.

Tests
There are many different types of tests. In most of them, you have to try to avoid touching a certain type of tile, or else you have to start at the beginning of the current test level you were in. Again, tests can be very different, especially EvilMike's Platform Tests.

Assassination
Try to kill the "king" or "leader" of the other team to score a point for your team. The leader of a team is usually given lots of powerups, access to carrots, etc.

Team Race
I wasn't aware that these existed, although many times I've wanted to try to make one.

Rabbit Hunt
I saw this one once, players join as blue, while the host is red. They have to roast him a chosen amount of times, but he has a bigger opportunity in moving around the level. This mode is CTF-based.

Bird Hunt
After seeing Rabbit Hunt, I came up with this one. Instead of a rabbit, the server is a bird (use XJJ2 or JazzForce).

King Of The Hill
This was a single pack of about 3 levels. I forgot who made this. This is a kind of a race, where you go to a chosen point and then try to stay there as long as possible and as the only one there.

Neo, I doubt the gametypes are described incorrectly. Which do you not agree with?

Battle:
Has a name of "all you can roast", which noone uses.
The rule "Do not move or attack before host says start." is also not applicable, because people join at different times and start playing immediately...

There are some doubles.
I don't remember what exactly, but the JAILBREAK was doubled, there is another game with exactly the same rules and gamemode (removed in my manual)
Same applies to the survivor - it is doubled.

Treasure:
"get 100 gems"... but the amount of gems is set by host.

CTF:

Since the points given out is equal to all team members, those who join in the middle of the current game don't recieve points, but they may still play.

False. You do get the points, regardless to when you join...

Well, I don't remember all of them. In my manual it is corrected, plus:
- Removed doubles
- Added unlisted gametypes
- Corrected some definitions
- Added the property "Bult-in Score System: Yes\No\Not Required"
- Grouped by game type; Similar games are now together (for example, assassination and one-sided assassination)
- Instead of writing "none" or "there is nothing that applies", I just wrote "--" (for better readability (word invented ) )

Diz's page more describes JDC events than the gametypes by themselves. Thus, things like scoring and organization are going to be a bit different.

All of most of your quibbles with JDC's game types page are not correct for the reason Unknown Rabbit noted. It has to be seen from an organized competition viewpoint.

There is also Instagib, but thats basically battle except with a program that makes everyone have 1h life.
