A few n00bish questions...
1. This sounds stupid but is there really any point to this game or is it like a chat room with a fun as hell game in the background? Most people sit idle and just talk...
2. What's all these special moves/cheats i.e. some of you ppl just stand in one place flashing like you got hit for the whole game and kill everyone at the last minute, is that a cheat or is their a trick to it? And some people jump over my shots and jump on my blaster bullets like they're a spring board or something without getting hurt? |

1. I'm sometimes playing JJ2, but not too often. I like to come over here and talk though.
2. I don't know.

1. Not many people care of public servers, that's why they spend more time on chatting than playing. I prefer playing.
2.Lag

Oh, you're talking about servers in the first question? If so, I don't know. I'd prefer playing, but I can't play online anyway.

Well I wouldnt know of any cheats m8, I know some cheats exist, but never heard of sumthing like u mentioned...
As for playing, well open server tend to be more of a chatroom. Specially TSF games and those bloody hotels... Most of the more active players does 2v2's or 3v3's, and from time 2 time there's also open games that are quite played. So I gues my answer to you my friend would be, yes JJ2 is more than just a chatroom.

Typically, whether people are playng will depend on several factors, such as:
How long the people in the server have played JJ2 (we tend to stagnate with time). How long the level has been around (they tend to stagnate with time). How good the level is. If you ever see a server called "Survivor", the people in them are almost always playing. It's some sort of weird golden rule. |

1. What everyone else said + you need to be at the right place at the right time. Use J2o's GIP or Jazztool to see how many ppl are in a server. Also, always join when the server name says Anniversary Bash 7.
![]() 2. Lag. When ppl go really fast they are either warping (you can see ppl's warp-"trails" in MP or you're lagging badly. Ppl can reach real super speeds if they go into fast suckertubes or run (in the right direction ![]() |
