Hi,

I've been passive on this forum for a very long time; this is actually my first post. But that does't matter right now. I want to introduce Ogi , a Jazz 2 level which I am hosting about weekly (most weekends) online.

Ogi is much like a hotel, except it is a lot more interactive, gives you many more opportunities and is much more addictive. It allows you to store your stuff, explore, get rich, roast people, play games, do missions...

...like an MMORPG? Well, yes, sort of. Though it's not going to be Massive, as it is only a JJ2 level.

Edit: You may have noticed that it's 1.23 AS WELL now. I've modified the True Rabbit Hotel Winter tileset and made a Lite version of it. If you have problems joining the server, try to download the tileset first (from the website)

I've seen the movie and it looks quite good (but is there any actual water in the level? )

Sounds well thought out. The author seems to enjoy his work, and will further enjoy it while Ogi's in progress. Only thing is, people seem to have a hard time breaking from mike's coin collecting concept. Oh well.

This is pretty cool-sounding. Maybe you can have other people help you by hosting when you can't.

Mike's coin collection concept is probably the only way to make hotels interesting enough to play in, sadly. Even then, most hotels are still too unbearable to play in, because of their design, eyecandy, tileset... We just have to wait and see as to how it's executed.

Though, hopefully your hotel's quality is better than those usually made by TSF community.

There's also food collection, but I think it should be an expansion to the system rather than having a food-based hotel economy.

If you wouldn't play this, I rather say you'd be crazy :P
To bad that you didn't like my idea about Carrot Islands, but I will still help you with Ogi. I'm still thinking about the mini-game you asked me to create.

No, I don't think it's fun if you can ONLY earn coins by doing jobs etc, I'd say a balance between the two things is ok. Though Mike's coin collection concept may be boring. I've put a lot of coins in secrets and places where it's harder to grab them, just as you've done with CI.

I'm not really into hotels and other custom online games with Jazz2. But okay, I may give this thing a try when I'm playing online at a time when it's hosted.

But 1 thing... Structurize the hosting times!!
Then it is good enough for me!

Well, Carrot Islands hosting times aren't structurized either, are they? And CI isn't finished yet. And I update my website more often

Btw Pjman, Ogi was much earlier online than my Carrot Islands, so say that CI looks alot like Ogi =p
