Auto System Reboot Scripts.
Anybody have uber nifty scripting skills?
I want to be able to PM myself a password in IRC to reset my machine. I've done this in 98SE. However... I was wondering if there was any way to get MIRC to start up (got that) and automatically connect to whatever server. There's also the fact that I can't get windows to automatically connect through DSL (it's listed in network connections, and I tried putting that under the startup folder). From there, I use another password in IRC and get a remote access control file for miscellaneous reasons. Wow, I'm on my computer at home from school! IF only.. So far I've only gotten IRC to start up with XP... There's also a reset command for windows XP that I've found. I'll put this into IRC to reboot it into 98se... however; boot.ini refers to XP as the default booting system, the computer will not connect itself to the internet and thus I cannot do anything, not that I wanted to except to use Kazaa-lite and download things. Anybody have any ideas on window's and their lack of start up options?

...so what are you trying to do?
If you want mIRC to connect to a server upon startup, just use it's command line parameters. (Check the help index for "Command Line")

What do you have to do to connect to it normally?
